The dance teacher, 25, was matched with personal trainer Jordan, 26, on the E4 show and the pair had a turbulent journey following their later entrance but stayed together and are still going strong.
However, in one shocking moment on the show, personal trainer Jordan, 26, became embroiled in a fight with Luke, 30, after the latter banged on his front door and started swung at him – while Erica watched on.
Luke, who was matched with his now-ex Jay Howard, was ejected from the show following the physical confrontation with Jordan, who has spoken about his past trauma with domestic violence.
Addressing the shocking scenes, Erica told how it was ‘awful’ to go through and said they never expected Luke to turn up at their door and start a fight, after weeks of tension between him and Jordan.

In one shocking moment, personal trainer Jordan, 26, became embroiled in a fight with Luke, 30, after the latter banged on his front door and started swung at him
Erica – who has recently become an ambassador for BPerfect Cosmetics – said she struggled watching the final edit of the show because she felt that viewers did not get to see the whole ‘context’ behind certain situations.
Of the fight, she said: ‘At the time that was awful, it was horrible dealing with that, I think coming on a show like MAFS, you never expect something like that to happen – on any show to be honest or even just in normal life you wouldn’t expect someone to come banging on your door and trying to fight you!
‘So that was really shocking for both of us, but the fact that we had each other in that moment, I would say that was one of the hardest parts as a couple for us, but the fact that we had each other made it so much better.’
Erica also told how Jordan and Luke are planning an organised punch-up in the boxing ring in a bid to put their differences behind them once and for all.
‘The boys are organising a boxing match, which is due to be in February. They have big plans in place for this,’ she said.
‘I feel like they have to [put everything behind them], there’s no point dragging it out, if they don’t like each other and they’re never going to be friends, so that’s fine, we can deal with that, but I do think the boxing match is a good way to settle things, the gentleman way in a ring, where it’s supervised with a referee and they’ve got gloves on, it’s the best way to do it.’
Erica also revealed that the TV edit meant that viewers weren’t able to fully see what had happened and said Jordan hadn’t felt able to ‘defend’ himself in the scenes.

‘The situation that happened on the show, the TV edit doesn’t get to really show what fully happened, but again, in that moment, Jordan felt like he wasn’t able to defend himself because of being on the show,’ she said.
Erica also shared how she ‘struggled’ watching some of the show back because of missing ‘context’ due to the time restraints of each episode, meaning every conversation is not shown on screen.
She went on: ‘I would say quite a few things weren’t said more than anything, like I just think there’s a lot of context that gets missed out with things in certain situations.
‘There’s obviously a lot more than goes on than what the viewer gets to see. That’s one of the most difficult things I struggled with watching it back because I was like “yes, but there’s so much context missing” and it can give people the wrong idea, but that’s just TV.’
Despite the trials, Erica admitted that she ‘really enjoyed’ the process of filming and said she felt ‘comfortable’ in front of the camera, adding: ‘I genuinely was just me. I was just me, I was myself, what you see with me is what you get with me.’
She said one of her high points on the show was attending the couple’s retreat, saying her and Jordan had been in ‘such a good place’ at the time, while one of her lowest moments was her clashes with the other women.
Erica struggled to ‘gel’ with the other wives upon her entrance to the show and got into clashes with brides including Ella and Tasha, but also made a close friend in Adrienne.

Erica went on to address the cheating scandal at the reunion, which saw Jordan accused of cheating on Erica, and said even though it was difficult at the time, they have now moved on
Despite the trials, Erica admitted that she ‘really enjoyed’ the process of filming and said she felt ‘comfortable’ in front of the camera
She said of the rows: ‘My lowest point was probably I think coming into the experience. Obviously as I struggled like gelling with the girls, I didn’t have a great reception coming in, that was really tough.’
Erica went on to address the cheating scandal at the reunion, which saw Jordan accused of cheating on Erica after being pictured in the back of a taxi with another woman.
Erica admitted it was challenging to watch the scenes air, saying they felt like they had to ‘relive’ the row when the scenes were released on TV six months on.
‘It’s just sad looking back at it to be honest. It wasn’t nice watching it because it happened like six months ago, so you kind of get over it and you have to watch it back and all the emotions come up again,’ she said.
‘That was really tough just to watch it and see myself be that upset as well was sad. Jordan and I have moved on from that now but because it gets brought up again, you feel like you have to relive it.’
As well as the trials on screen, Erica also confessed that she found cruel comments from online trolls ‘really hard’, saying she received ‘nasty’ messages from some viewers.
She said: ‘At first, I found [trolling] really hard, I’ve always been someone who was like “I won’t care about the trolls, I’m thick-skinned, I can deal with it” but I think it’s very different to when it’s actually happening to you.
‘People can come for me about the way I look or whatever, but it’s when they start getting personal to do with family or coming for your character, just being nasty, I just think it’s so bizarre how angry people get over a TV show that they watch for an hour four days a week!’
Erica and Jordan have overcome their trials on the show and are still together now, and she insisted they have gone from ‘strength-to-strength’ and are enjoying being a normal couple off-screen and plan to move to Manchester together.
Since leaving the show, Erica has become a brand ambassador for BPerfect after she received messages from fans asking her about her make-up routine.

She said of her new role: ‘I’ve loved the brand for ages, I’ve used their products for years and when I was on the show, I used a lot of their products.
‘So when the show was airing, I was getting so many DMs being like, we need a make-up routine, what blush were you wearing, what foundation is this, how do you get your make-up to stay on, all these questions in regards to my make-up.
‘A lot of the products that I did use were BPerfect, so I reached out to them and was like wondering if they wanted to work together. I never expected to become an ambassador or anything, I just thought maybe I could share some products on my Instagram, so I was absolutely buzzing when they said they wanted to work together.’
Erica is thrilled to be an official Brand Ambassador for BPerfect Cosmetics.
