Ryan didn’t share any other updates beyond this, suggesting Leo was back home and well.
He regularly shares content on his little one on socials, with the most recent being on Saturday after the injury.
Ryan, who became a dad at 22, wrote: ‘He may outgrow my lap, but never my heart. Watching him grow is my life’s greatest joy.’
It’s not the first time it has happened, as in December, the former semi-professional footballer revealed Leo was rushed to hospital.
Leo, who Ryan shares with a former partner, wore pajamas and a dressing gown as he sat on the bed with an iPad on his lap.
Ryan did not share the nature of his son’s condition, simply writing, ‘I love you,’ alongside the photo with a blue love-heart emoji.
The health scare happened just weeks after the reality star celebrated his son’s seventh birthday.
Ryan has battled his own health woes in the past, having battled cancer twice.

The TV personality learned he was going to be a dad at 22 in 2017 – but was diagnosed with stage two bladder cancer just three months later.
He fought the disease but it returned 18 months later. He is now in remission.
Ryan went on MAFS UK earlier last year and was partnered with makeup artist Sionainn Carmichael, 29.
They quit the show in October after just two weeks following an explosive argument.
Sionainn broke down in tears as she admitted to feeling uncomfortable because Ryan had shown a different side to him off camera, which reminded her of an ex.
Explaining their decision to leave to the other couples, Ryan said their blow out had erupted over him tying his shoelaces.
