A MAFS UK star has been left devastated after being ‘dumped via text’ following a whirlwind romance.
Personal trainer and mother-of-two Marilyse Corrigan was unlucky in love on the series in 2021 after marrying fellow fitness fanatic Franky Spencer.
However she revealed in September last year that she was in a relationship with a new man.
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out for Marilyse with a source telling The Sun: ‘Marilyse is really upset and can’t believe she’s ended up single again.
‘She was dumped over text after falling head over heels. It was a whirlwind romance and in hindsight she feels she was love bombed.’
Marilyse wed military man Franky on the series but they split just before the final episode aired.

She later moved on with Matt Murray who also appeared on the Channel 4 show in 2022, but they split in March 2023.
Marilyse later fuelled rumours that she had secretly rekindled her romance with Frankie in December 2023 when she shared a cosy photo with her former ‘husband.’
Fans flooded the comments section with their well wishes, with one adding: ‘Awww hope it’s not out of place but I always think you two should give it another go… you seem so good together, it’s all in the vibes xx’
The former couple split after their relationship ‘went a bit dry’ after ‘spending too much time together’.
During the show Marilyse had decided to stay with her Dubai-based husband, who had been dubbed ‘controlling’ by fans, after the programme ended in the couple’s vow renewal.
But speaking to The Sun after the show, the contestant revealed her relationship with Franky ended when it turned into more of a friendship.
‘It’s really sad as we got on really well and Franky has a heart of gold,’ said Marilyse, explaining that it was a mutual decision to end their relationship.
Adding that the experience was ‘full-on’, she admitted: ‘I saw a lot of Franky and that probably spoiled it because we spent too much time together.

She also sparked romance rumours with former contestant Matt Murray in October 2022 when they jetted off to Turkey together but they split after six months together
She continued: ‘Eventually things just went a bit dry and we ended up being more like friends than people in a relationship.’
Following the show, Franky moved to Beverly, while he looked for a job in Leeds, amid planning his return to the UK from Dubai.
Marilyse later sparked romance rumours with Matt in October 2022 when they jetted off to Turkey together.
However, they both announced on social media in March they have decided to break up due to being ‘too different’ to one another.
Marilyse told her Instagram followers: ‘I’ve received multiple messages asking if Matt and I are still together.
‘Out of respect to you guys and the support you’ve given us, of course it’s only fair to be clear. So the answer to this is no we are no longer together anymore but I do wish Matt all the best for his future.’
