Married At First Sight UK star Amy Christopher has revealed her hunky new boyfriend, years after her ‘toxic’ split from show groom Joshua Christie.
The sports journalist appeared on the E4 dating show back in 2021, but her marriage to Joshua failed to go the distance.
Ahead of the festive season, Amy has now revealed her new man Darren in a Christmas-themed post, sweetly writing ‘It was always you.’
In her post, Amy shared that she and her boyfriend had over 20 years of history together, admitting the ‘stars have finally aligned’ for them to be together.
She also shared the sweet way Darren asked her to be his girlfriend, as they enjoyed a romantic trip away together.

Posting a slew of selfies with her new man, Amy captioned her post: ‘The HARD launch.
’23 years later, the stars have finally aligned ✨ we had to go live out our dreams and grow into who we were meant to be. But, it was always you.’

Amy split from MAFS UK groom Joshua after their final vows, admitting during the reunion that things ended between them due to his ‘lack of effort.’
A heartbroken Amy added at the time that Joshua also couldn’t give a ‘real reason’ for their break-up.
Last year, Amy, who works as a sports presenter for channels including Sky Sports, said taking part in the show ‘ruined her life’ after work opportunities ‘dried up’.

‘MAFS changed the direction of my sports career, and it started taking over’, she told The Mirror.
‘I had to pause my sports career for a while and obviously because the relationship didn’t work out, it took some time to heal from that.
‘I ended up taking two years out of my life, and that obviously affected my sports career as well.’
Amy also admitted she ‘didn’t realise the show would be as big as it was’, but has managed to get back into her sports work following her TV fame.
