Married At First Sight’s oldest couple, Morena Farina and Tony Mojanovski sensationally quit the show on Sunday night.
Their heated confrontation left both the experts and their fellow brides and grooms stunned.
The dramatic commitment ceremony saw Morena, 57, return unexpectedly, determined not to let Tony, 53, have the final say on their tumultuous relationship.
‘Did you really think I wasn’t gonna come?’ she asked as she strode into the room, turning heads. ‘Did you really think I was gonna give him the last word?’
Her entrance set the stage for an explosive showdown, with Tony attempting to explain why he felt their relationship was doomed from the start.
‘She’s a beautiful lady, but just the personality’s not there for me,’ he admitted. ‘Every time I did something, it was always a challenge for me. Like, if I made a cheeky comment or tried to be funny, it upset her. I’ve been quiet this whole way through, but yesterday was the first time I spoke out.’

Morena, however, wasn’t having it. She accused Tony of stifling her true self.
‘You don’t even know who you’re with. You’ve got no idea who I am,’ she fired back. ‘He’s put a lid on me. In such a short time, I’ve allowed somebody to shut me down.’
But it was Tony’s admission about wanting children that truly sent the conversation spiralling.
‘He said “I really want to have a baby,”‘ Morena revealed, before sarcastically adding, ‘Holy st, Tony! Clearly, I can’t reproduce. How do you think that makes a woman feel? I didn’t know that you wanted to have kids at 53.’
Tony attempted to defend himself, but expert Mel Schilling quickly pointed out that this was the first time they were hearing about his desire for children.
With tensions at an all-time high, the couple were asked whether they wanted to stay or leave. Tony was up first.
‘I’ve pretty much made my point and I’m clear, so I’m… I’m… leaving,’ he announced.
Morena, however, didn’t mince words when it was her turn.

Despite the fiery exchange, the experts bid them farewell with well wishes, praising them for bringing a unique perspective to the experiment
‘You’re a 53-year-old man. Behave like one. Good riddance,’ she declared, to gasps from the room.

As they walked out, Tony appeared remorseful, saying, ‘I didn’t want it to end this way. I really do feel for Morena and I hope she does find somebody. There’s always someone out there.’
