It’s the week where the Married At First Sight stars introduce their spouses to their loved ones – but instead of strengthening relationships, it’s tearing them apart.

In these exclusive spoilers for the week to come, I can reveal friends and family will suffer through accusations of gaslighting, emotional manipulation and explosive fights.

As revealed by my well-placed insiders, these are just a few of the bombshells set to be unveiled during MAFS’ most dramatic chapter yet…

Awhina and Adrian: Gaslighting, tears and an explosive showdown

Adrian Araouzou has been telling the group, the relationship experts and pretty much anyone who’ll listen he is committed to making things work with ‘wife’ Awhina Rutene.

But when Friends and Family Week rolls around, he does the exact opposite.

Sources reveal that Adrian ‘wanted hard truths’ – but the moment they came up, he started gaslighting Awhina.

The conversation turned into a nightmare, leaving Awhina ‘in tears all morning’.

‘Almost every fight they had, he was trying to tell her what to say. She felt trapped,’ an insider tells me.

Even worse, Awhina was left feeling isolated when no one in the experiment came to her defence.

‘Everyone had a big voice when Billy [Belcher] was hurt, but nobody seemed to care about her at the start,’ a source reveals.

The drama peaked when Adrian’s sisters, and his former best friend Jasmine, came for Awhina at a family gathering, accusing her of ‘not making enough effort’.

‘Within five seconds of her sitting down, they were tearing into her, and Awhina and her sister Cleo just fired back,’ an insider spills.

‘It was explosive. All hell broke loose.’

Tony and Morena: Baby bombshell and a brutal list

If Awhina and Adrian’s week is dramatic, Tony Mojanovski and Morena Farina’s is downright explosive.

Morena tries to copy Jacqui’s idea of writing a list of grievances about her husband, but insiders say ‘her list was even worse than Jacqui’s’.

But it’s her on-screen husband who drops the single biggest bombshell of the week.

During a gathering of friends and family, 53-year-old Tony announces he ‘wants kids’ – completely blindsiding Morena.

Not only is it a ridiculous suggestion because Morena is 57, but she also knows Tony is physically incapable of having children.

‘She was in shock. She knows Tony is infertile, so hearing him say that in front of everyone was mind-blowing,’ says my spy.

With secrets unravelling and trust at an all-time low, will this be the final straw for Tony and Morena?

Jacqui and Ryan: ‘Disgraceful’ behaviour exposed

Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly’s week is a trainwreck from the moment it begins.

‘She acted like a petulant child,’ a source tells me of the high-maintenance bride.

Instead of helping Ryan prepare for their guests, Jacqui ‘refused to get off the lounge’ and sulked the entire time. When she did finally join the table, things only got worse.

Jacqui was reportedly rude throughout the meal, repeatedly interrupting Ryan and calling him a ‘liar and a gaslighter’ in front of their stunned guests.

At one stage, she even ‘put her hand in his face’ to stop him from talking.

The tension between their guests was just as heated.

Jacqui’s friends ‘attacked Ryan’s friends’, with one of his mates accused of the most millennial of sins… ‘toxic masculinity’.
