Natalie Parham has finally found love following her brief stint on Married At First Sight this season.

The reality star, 32, is now happily in a relationship with a woman – who Natalie reveals is a female friend she’s known for some time – after she sensationally quit the show when she failed to connect with her TV husband Collins Christian.

‘I have been speaking to someone special,’ she told Channel Nine, per Pedestrian.

‘We’ve known each other for years. We met when she was married and I was in a long-term relationship.’

The physiotherapist said her partner has been ‘incredible’ in supporting her after she quit MAFS.

‘I’ve never dated a woman before, I’ve been attracted to them but I’ve never been able to take that step into dating,’ she added.

‘They have been an incredible support to me since I left the experiment. Even if it just eventuates into a nice friendship, we’re just going to see what happens.’

In February, Natalie broke her silence shortly after leaving the experiment.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the brunette opened up about the stark reality of her doomed partnership with Collins – and the moment that led her to walk away from her ‘marriage’.

Collins’ apparent lack of attraction was a key factor in her decision.

‘There was no connection,’ she flatly stated.

‘I wasn’t Blake Lively enough for him,’ Natalie revealed, taking a dig at his audition tape where he revealed the Hollywood actress was his ‘dream girl’.

Collins and Natalie swiftly exited the program, returning home less than two days after the first commitment ceremony was filmed.

Sources close to the production told Daily Mail Australia that Natalie was struggling immensely throughout filming and missing her family.

‘Natalie was homesick after losing her father and just wanted out,’ an insider revealed.

‘Collins was just doing her head in and Natalie wasn’t coping.

‘Nat finally reached boiling point and production agreed to let her go home.’

According to the spy, the pair ended on ‘bad terms’ and things don’t get much better at the reunion when they have an argument on camera.

‘Collins is still spiteful and keeps blaming her for robbing him of his opportunity,’ the source said.

‘Things got really nasty quick and they both just went their separate ways.

‘Collins didn’t even want to be with friends with Natalie afterwards, it’s really sh***y.’

According to friends, Natalie always felt like Collins was putting on a performance for the cameras and was a completely different person when camera’s weren’t rolling.

The decision allowing Natalie to leave came despite Collins’ choice to remain on the show.

The show’s guidelines and overall concept take a back seat when a participant’s mental health or wellbeing is at stake.

Natalie had previously expressed a desire to leave during the initial dinner event but was persuaded to stay at least until the next commitment ceremony to fulfill her part in the show’s narrative.

However, when it was clear that she would be required to stay for an additional week, the production leadership intervened.

It was noted that participating in the show is inherently challenging, but considering Natalie’s recent personal loss and her emotional state, continuing in the show would have been unreasonable.
