A Made In Chelsea star has quit the long running series after five years, MailOnline can reveal.
He was introduced as Sophie Habboo’s ex-boyfriend in 2019 and has since had failed romances with fellow cast members Emily Blackwell and Zeyno Taylan.
But now after entertaining viewers with his disastrous love life, Harvey Armstrong has revealed he is leaving the E4 show, admitting he finds filming ‘very draining.’
The entrepreneur, 30, who co-owns low-calorie beer company Prime Time, told MailOnline he has decided to walk away from TV to focus on his fast-growing business.
Harvey also says that taking part in the show, which saw the breakdown of his long-term relationship with Emily Blackwell after he was unfaithful, can be ’emotional’ and he needs to focus his attention elsewhere.
The rest of the cast, including his close friends Tristan Phipps and Reza Amiri, remain on the programme ahead of the upcoming season, which was filmed in the Maldives.

Harvey said: ‘As much as I love Made In Chelsea and have had some amazing years, it has a shelf life, and the time has come for me to leave the show.
‘There’s a lot of emotional bandwidth that goes with filming your life for TV and it’s a distraction and can be very draining. I have to clear my head.
‘Being a businessman has always been my goal and building up my company, Prime Time has fully taken off and now needs my full attention.
‘I can’t be a CEO and founder with 12 staff members and have my love life play out on reality TV…’
His final scenes on Made In Chelsea saw Harvey reject Zeyno, who admitted to falling in love with him but he didn’t feel the same way.
Model Zeyno said: ‘I feel like the last few months have been so emotionally draining for the both of us… Realistically, I have been hiding the fact that I am in love with you and have been in love with you for a while.’
He replied: ‘We have been hurting each other through this process of not being together and it’s been messy from the moment we ended things and the way it ended… I have got that in my head and that’s the decision I have made.’
Harvey’s two-year relationship with Emily ended in 2021 after he finally confessed to cheating on her in scenes captured for the series.

Harvey joined Made In Chelsea as Sophie’s ex-boyfriend in 2019 with the TV star going onto marry cast mate Jamie Laing

He enjoyed a flirtatious relationship with co-star Jazz Saunders, who stars in the upcoming series, filmed in the Maldives, with best friend Julia Pollard and Lauren Sintes

Away from his romantic life, Harvey previously quit his job in finance to pursue an entrepreneurial path and became a cast member on Made In Chelsea to promote his brand

He co-owns the lager venture with friend Sam Holmes, with the pair aspiring to launch the brand globally and ultimately change the way consumers drink beer
Emily, who welcomed her first baby with fiancé Jordan Oldershaw last year, was left humiliated when Harvey played away despite the couple living together and having hopes of a long-term future.
Harvey’s romance with podcaster Sophie ended before he started filming for the E4 series.
Sophie has since married her former co-star Jamie Laing with the couple now in the process of renovating their dream home together.

Prime Time, which is a low calorie and caffeine infused lager, is stocked across the country and on airlines, with Harvey admitting the success of the company has earned him multimillionaire status.
His five-year plan consists of aspiring to change the way people consume beer and for his low-calorie product to be on sale in every pub across the country and eventually on a global scale.
So far, he has rivalled the likes of Heineken and Guinness by promoting Prime Time’s unique selling point of being healthier than the average lager and freeing the consumer of having a heavy hangover or bloated feeling the day after drinking.
