Lucy Liu’s ‘secret career’ has been revealed and it has stunned fans.
The 55-year-old actress – who stunned at the Red One premiere earlier this week – has recently shocked many on social media who have just discovered that her amazing hidden talent away from the big screen is painting.
The talented actress dabbles in all types of visual art mediums including ink drawings, paintings, silkscreens, and collages but is probably best known for her erotic lesbian paintings.
One user on X (formally Twitter) brought attention to her work off of film and television as they recently posted a photo of Lucy in front of one of her best known works.
They wrote: ‘I just randomly found out that Lucy Liu is not only a good actress. She is an artist known for lesbian paintings under the pseudo Yu Ling (her real name).

The talented actress has been painting since she was a teenager and later studied art at the New York Studio School.
When she began her career she began signing her work under her Chinese name Yu Ling.
She explained the move to The Hollywood Reporter back February 2019 in as she said: ‘It was a form of protection and also to allow the viewer to have a very clear and open mind when they came to see the works.’
Lucy has had a successful art career which has spanned more than three decades.

Lucy’s professional acting career has spanned just as long as her professional painting career as her first acting gig was as Donna in 1992 Hong Kong drama film Rhythm Of Destiny.
She has had a highly successful career which included two Charlie’s Angels films (2000 and 2003), Kill Bill: Volume 1, and starring in the series Why Women kill from 2019 to 2021.
