Lucy accessorized with a black bag, sunglasses, rings, and a necklace.

Lucy and David – who sported a black shirt and jeans, white sneakers, and a red baseball cap – dined at Uchi in Los Angeles.

Lucy’s evening comes days after she sparked romance rumors with Rob Lowe’s son, John Owen Lowe.

The Puppy Love star and the Unstable actor were spotted leaving a lunch date at Tocaya Modern Mexican restaurant in Studio City on Saturday.

Speculation started that the pair might be more than friends back in April after The Hating Game actress left a sweet comment on the writer’s Instagram post.

John’s post read, ‘Six years ago today I took my last sip of alcohol. If you or anyone you know is struggling with addiction, reach out. Ask for help. I did and it changed my life.’

Lucy – who is two years sober – wrote beneath the Instagram message, ‘This is amazing. You are amazing. Bright & shiny human.’

Like John, the Katy Keene star celebrated a sobriety milestone in January and took a moment to reflect on her journey thus far.

‘This continues to be the greatest gift I’ve given myself’ Lucy wrote on Instagram in honor of being two years sober. ‘I remain so grateful for another year of growth, growing pains, lessons, joys, and self realizations. To be able to show up as myself and to be greeted with such warmth and acceptance is something I do not take for granted.’

She continued her post, ‘The interactions, conversations, and moments of vulnerability from people I know, people I used to know, from people I’ve hurt, from people who’ve hurt me, from strangers and even people on the internet have given my life so much color and meaning. Those experiences have been my favorite takeaway from this last year. To every person I have connected with…thank you from the bottom of my heart.’

The Teen Choice Awards winner also encouraged those who need help to speak up, writing, ‘Lastly, if you are struggling please know you are not alone and that you do not have to trek this path alone. There is no right or wrong way to heal and it is deeply personal and unique to each of us. My only advice is to remain open hearted, curious, and to find the people who see and support you. It does get better. Take it moment by moment, Lucy.’

Lucy first opened up about her sobriety journey on social media in February 2023, revealing to followers that she was one year sober.

‘Bear with me, this is an alternative Valentine’s Day post,’ she wrote, alongside a picture of a cake with the words, ‘1 Year!’ written in icing. ‘This is a post about self-love and about the greatest thing I’ve ever done.’

Lucy shared, ‘On January 2, 2023 I celebrated one year of sobriety. While this journey has mostly been private, I felt compelled tonight to let anyone who is struggling know that you are not alone and you are loved.’

She then elaborated on her choice to quit drinking while on the Call Her Daddy podcast in November.

‘The first time I ever had alcohol… I was probably 12, or 13? I was in Florida, on vacation… and we drank Green Apple Pucker,’ Lucy reminisced. ‘I remember my very first experience with alcohol was the same as when it ended. I blacked out – at 12 years old. I don’t remember what happened, I threw up, I got very sick, and I remember being so distraught when I realized what had happened.’

She added, ‘I was like, “Oh my god, my mom is going to be so disappointed in me.”‘

But regardless of the incident, Lucy didn’t ‘realize I had a problem until my early 20s.’

The singer explained that at that point, she frequently thought about drinking, and she felt uncomfortable if she went out and didn’t drink.

Those realizations led Lucy to check into treatment.
