Lucy DeVito is pregnant and expecting her first child with her fiancé.

The exciting news was confirmed shortly after the 40-year-old daughter of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman debuted her baby bump at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday evening.

A representative for the Deadbeat star confirmed her pregnancy to People on Sunday and revealed the due date is sometime this summer. 

The day before, DeVito modeled a flowing, red gown to support her mother, 75, at the annual award ceremony as her movie Barbie was nominated in four categories.

DeVito’s baby will be her famous parents’ and the now-estranged couple’s second grandchild.

The It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star, 79, and Perlman had been together for over 50 years and tied the knot in 1982.

The pair first announced their separation in October 2012 before reconciling just months later in March 2012.

Five years later, the couple announced that they split for good and have remained good friends since then. 

The pair — who reunited at the Emmys last month — are parents to three children: Lucy, Grace, 38, and Jake, 36. 

During an episode of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ podcast Wiser Than Me released in June 2023, Perlman said that despite their separation, she and her estranged husband are still married.

On the podcast episode released last year, Perlman also confirmed she had already became a grandmother for the first time.

She revealed her granddaughter’s name is Sinclair Lucille DeVito. She later confirmed that the baby belongs to her younger daughter Grace.

She also explained why Grace and her husband decided Sinclair would have the DeVito surname.

‘They kept the name DeVito even though she’s married and her husband is not DeVito, but that’s what they chose,’ Perlman explained.

She also talked about becoming a grandmother for the first time.

‘Everybody said it’ll change your life when you have a grandchild, and it does,’ she said.

‘There’s a certain love,’ she elaborated. ‘I mean, I felt it when my own children were born, the kind of love I never felt before for anything, but this was a profound kind of feeling, and here it is again.

‘They can do no wrong,’ she said. ‘Looking at a new human being is so amazing, that people create other people. It’s mind-boggling.’
