She ended her relationship with Timothy Smith during Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight.
And Lucinda Light looked very different as she made her first TV appearance since leaving the dating show.
The 43-year-old debuted a striking new fringe as she discussed her failed marriage to Timothy on Channel Nine’s Today Show on Monday.
‘Tim and I are such close friends [but] I do feel a bit like blue [on how it ended],’ she told hosts Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington.
‘I could have been a little bit more gracious than that. But I do love the spoken word and a good poem,’ she said, referring to the letter she read Tim at the commitment ceremony.

Lucinda also spoke about their relationship and revealed the fan favourites were just two very different people in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia.
‘I think it was just realising I want something different for myself,’ she said.
‘It’s not to say that I deserve better than Tim because Tim’s an absolute legend and a half, but I think we do really do life differently and have different expectations around our day to day, our emotions, our feelings, our relationships all about.’
During their Melbourne homestay, things then went from bad to worse for the couple, as Timothy withdrew and wanted ‘alone time’ before going out to spend time with a mate.
Lucinda said she felt a massive shift, especially after speaking with Timothy’s friends.

Meanwhile, Lucinda and Timothy called time on their relationship during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.
The tension was palpable as Lucinda laid bare the crux of their struggles.
Timothy acknowledged his lacklustre effort, saying, ‘I didn’t go into homestay with the best attitude.’
His words echoed the distance growing between them, a chasm further widened by his actions, or lack thereof.

In an emotional stand before the experts, Timothy said he found deep emotional exploration ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘overwhelming’.
The pivotal moment came as Lucinda, poised with poetic eloquence, chose to step away from the marriage, marking the end of their journey.
Timothy, too, decided to exit the experiment, but not without a glimmer of hope for a friendship beyond the show’s confines.
