Lovebirds Cody Simpson and Emma McKeon stun at Myer event in Melbourne

Cody Simpson and Emma McKeon looked every inch the loved-up couple when they stepped out in Melbourne on Monday.

Cody, 27, took to Instagram to share a series of photos of he and partner Emma, 30, attending the Myer Precious Metals Gala.

Emma looked stunning in a beige evening dress with mesh embellishments that flaunted her athletic form.

Wearing her hair back for the glittering occasion, Emma accessorised simply with a gold watch with a black band.

Cody, meanwhile, flaunted his sartorial style in a simple black tuxedo and matching black leather boots.

He finished his dapper ensemble with a pair of dark-rimmed glasses.

The pair looked chuffed to be in each other’s company as they posed for photos, stopping for a kiss as they arrived at the event.

Cody also posted a photo of himself enjoying the couple’s accommodation for the evening.

Fans of the couple were quick to gush over the pics with many commenting on the couple’s sense of style.

While one fan suggested that Cody’s outfit was giving off ‘James Bond’ vibes, another added: ‘Very dapper with the specs Cody.’

After an epic Paris Olympics that saw her net three medals (gold, silver and bronze), Emma wrote herself into the history books as Australia’s most decorated medallist at Olympic level.

At the conclusion of the Paris Olympics, which she declared beforehand would be her last, Emma has collected 14 Olympic medals since 2016.

Cody, who almost qualified for the Games himself, took to Instagram recently to cheer on Emma’s success.

He shared a picture of himself next to his sweetheart as she held up her gold medal beside a display case with her other medals from the 2024 games.

Both Cody and Emma were all smiles in the photo, with Cody wearing a white T-shirt and cream chinos and his girlfriend wearing the Aussie gold and green.

In the caption, he shared his pride at her accomplishments, claiming it was a ‘privilege’ to watch her success.

‘Golden girl. Emma, to have had a seat to watch you compete and complete your Olympic career with such grace and power was a privilege,’ Cody wrote.

‘You inspire me immensely and it’s an honour to be your man! I’m punching and I know it so I’m glad you haven’t figured that out yet!’ he added, suggesting Emma was out of his league.

The couple went ‘Instagram official’ with their relationship in July 2022, three months after they began dating in secret.

Last year, Emma and Cody celebrated by buying their first home together.

The pair splashed out $1.826million on a family-sized love nest on the Gold Coast, proving their headline-making romance that flourished during training for the 2022 Commonwealth Games has become rather serious.
