Love was in the air! Former Married At First Sight couple Ryan and Jacqui pack on the PDA before their brutal split

Former Married At First Sight couple Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly were not afraid to pack on the PDA following a very uncomfortable post-couple swap exchange this week.

As the pair, who have since parted ways, reunited on Tuesday’s episode Jacqui told Ryan he had fragile masculinity while questioning his ability to provide a financially secure environment for her and their future children.

It appears that all was forgiven however, with the pair spotted romantically canoodling as they returned to their apartment at 3am during filming for the show’s next dinner party.

Jacqui cut a chic figure in lime green off-the-shoulder dress that finished at her ankles. 

Wearing her locks down for the occasion, Jacqui finished her dinner party look with a pair of strappy white heels.

She also carried a beige overcoat in the crook of her arm.

Ryan, meanwhile, wore a grey jacket over a navy blue shirt he had tucked in to a pair of beige chinos.

The reality groom finished his outfit with a pair of brown leather shoes and he carried a green shopping bag.

Displaying none of the awkwardness that was palpable during their uncomfortable couch session, Jacqui and Ryan were all smiles as they arrived back at their apartment.

The pair were both beaming broadly as they strolled hand-in-hand and stopped for a kiss as they headed inside.

The loved-up display came before the couple officially parted way later in the season. Jacqui has since moved on with fellow groom Clint Rice. 

They weren’t the only couple that appeared to have a successful dinner party, either.

Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobells, who have emerged as one of the series’ strongest couples, also looked very chuffed to be in each other’s company. 

Rhi showed off her svelte form in a lemon coloured skirt and matching sleeveless top.

Finishing almost at the floor, Rhi’s dress offered a peek at a pair of brown heels.

Geoff matched his partner in a white polo shirt that he wore under a mauve sports jacket.

He finished his look with a pair of off-white chinos and a pair of casual sneakers.

Waking back to their accommodation arm- in-arm, the duo appeared to be having a great night, sharing jokes and laughing.

Awhina Retune and Adrian Araouzou looked similarly loved up, despite their path to love being more than rocky.

Awhina was positively glowing in a moss green dress that showed off more than a hint of cleavage. 

Rugging up against the late-night Sydney weather, Awhina also wore a long dark blue overcoat.

With her locks flowing effortlessly, she finished her look with  a pair of strappy heels while acessorising with a small clutch.

Adrian looked over the moon to be on Awhina’s arm, smiling at his bride as they strolled hand-in-hand.

He cut quite the cool casual figure in a lemon-coloured polo shirt he tucked into a pair of grey pants.

Augmenting the look with a black leather belt, Adrian finished his outfit with a pair of black leather shoes, sans socks.

Adrian finished his look with a pair of black leather Dr Martens shoes and a chunky silver watch on his wrist. 

The couple found time for some late-night playfulness with Awhina hamming it up for the camera as Adrian watched on. 

It wasn’t all kisses and hand-holding however, with some contestants spotted arriving separately.

Wrapped in a blue blanket, Carina Mirabile could be seen covering her face as she returned to her accommodation.

Her groom Paul Antoine  didn’t look too upset being without his bride flashing a wry smile as he strolled confidently with his jacket coolly slung over his shoulder.

With his bride Veronica Cloherty nowhere to be seen, groom Eliot Donovan looked more than happy to be returning from the dinner party single.

He flashed the camera a smile and a cheeky hand gesture as he made his way back to the apartment. 

He also went for a smart casual look in a light blue Polo shirt tucked into a pair of grey chinos.
