Love On The Spectrum star James B. Jones FINALLY finds love after three seasons as he introduces his girlfriend in heartwarming scenes

Love On The Spectrum star James B. Jones has finally found love after three seasons of the heartwarming Netflix series. 

The show follows the dating lives of several people who have autism, with the highly-anticipated third season released last Wednesday.

We see ‘proud nerd’ James return to the show in his third quest to find love, with unsuccessful speed dating followed by a date where he didn’t feel a spark casting doubt over the outcome. 

But fans were in for a surprise at the end of the season when out of the blue James introduced his new girlfriend Shelley Wolfe, a woman he had met on Instagram.

The camera crew were also taken by surprise by James’s new romance, as Shelley made an appearance at his birthday party.

Speaking to Netflix’s Tudum, James said of his new love: ‘Shelley is simply wonderful and amazing. 

‘I love her very much, since she and I have much in common, but we also bring out the best in each other and inspire each other to grow and improve as people. I am so very glad that she and I have met!’

Sharing a collection of snaps of he and Shelley from the season three premiere in LA, James gushed: ‘Here are several photographs of me and @shelley.wolfee from the premiere of the third season of #loveonthespectrumus, on Tuesday, April 1! 

‘She is such an amazing person, and I cannot say enough wonderful things, about her!’

Fans of James were delighted to see him finally find love, as they commented on a recent post of him and Shelley. 

They wrote: ‘Congrats James! You two are so cute together!!’; ‘i just know you treat her like a queen,’;

Last season saw James delighted when he finally got his first kiss and a successful second date with special needs teacher Maggie.

Maggie seemed rather enthralled with James and his knowledge of medieval history and it seems they are a real love match when they decide to go on a third date. 

But there was a twist in store because the end credits reveal the pair decided not to pursue their romance.

James has said that he doesn’t ever want to have children or pets for that matter and that is a non-negotiable for him. 

His dates with Maggie showed he knew exactly how to impress when he sweetly remembered her love for frogs and tried his best to find the brunette beauty some frog-shaped gummies, but was unsuccessful.

Instead, he turned up with an adorable gummy flower bouquet to express his feelings for her.

The pair met at the Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, a beautiful sprawling mansion in New England, where James started to point out the Greek goddesses he could recognise from the statues in the garden.

He then planted a kiss on Maggie, after seeking her permission and the two kissed once more. 

While things between the pair started heating up, it was later revealed by the update text in the most recent episode that the two had agreed to part ways.
