Love Island star Leah Taylor is ready to date again and says she’s on the hunt for a husband following her split from Montel McKenzie.
The influencer, 27, told MailOnline that she hasn’t been put off men after her romance with Montel came to an abrupt end amid speculation that he had been unfaithful once they left the ITV2 villa.
In fact, the former contestant is eager to meet someone new and says she hopes her next boyfriend will be the man she marries.
Leah previously explained that she ‘doesn’t forgive twice’ after she excused Montel’s behaviour in Casa Amor, and felt he had repeated the same errors in the real world.
And now she’s said the dating experience made her realise that she doesn’t want to ‘waste time on something that isn’t going to be serious’ because she’s ready to meet the right person.

The pair met on Love Island this summer but their romance ended shortly after they left the villa and Leah later said she wasn’t prepared to forgive Montel ‘twice’
Leah told MailOnline: ‘I am genuinely at a place where I feel healed, and I am ready to date again. I would love to meet someone.
‘Right now, I don’t have the time for a relationship and I’m also so fussy, I want the next man I’m with to be my husband and that is so much pressure.
‘I am not rushing it but I’m definitely open to finding someone now. I am at a point now where I am not trying to waste my own time on something that isn’t going to be serious.
‘When I’m dating now, I am dating with more intention. I feel like if I found the right person, I would be open to settling down now. I’m going to start manifesting it.’
Leah felt betrayed by Montel after watching footage back of his flirtations with Casa Amor bombshell Tink Reading, saying their romance eventually ended because he demonstrated the same traits outside of the villa.
The new boohoo ambassador, who models her winter edit in MailOnline’s exclusive photos, admits while she’s open to finding someone, she has ruled out doing another dating show and wouldn’t even be tempted by Love Island: All Stars.
She said: ‘I don’t know if I will do another dating show… Right now, everything feels too soon.
‘I feel like I am so fresh out of the villa, it has literally been around three months… I am not looking to go back into that villa anytime soon.’

Explaining that she is ‘grateful’ to Maura for guiding her through the process, Leah expressed that having one of the show’s best-known stars by her side was comforting because it’s such a surreal experience.
She said: ‘Maura was great… it is so amazing to have someone there that has been on the show and experienced it all because you can’t even begin to describe it.
‘I didn’t even have to tell her; she just understood and got it. I’m so grateful to have a friend in Maura who knows what I’m speaking about all the time.’

The reality star says she is ‘proud’ because she has come ‘full circle’ with her career after promoting boohoo on her Instagram profile before she starred on Love Island to now working with the retailer on her own edit.
And Leah says the clothing line, which ranges from a size 6-16 and costs between £8-£75, reflects her personal style and she’s thrilled she was able to put her own touch on the items.
She said: ‘I have worked with boohoo for a long time… I have always been a fan of theirs and for me it is such a full circle moment because they were the last brand that I posted about on my Instagram feed before I went into the Love Island villa.
‘I have had a huge part in this collection… they handed over the reins in terms of styling and creative direction and the team did such a great job at pulling together my personality and how I do my content, even right down to the location and the way I shoot on camera, that was the vibe they wanted for the entire collection.
‘It felt like I did what I normally do while collaborating with a massive brand, the process felt really natural and seamless.’
- Leah’s collection will be available to shop on boohoo’s website from 6pm on Thursday October 26
