Love Island star Dami Hope has confirmed his split from Indiyah Polack after three years together.
The Daily Mail revealed on New Year’s Day that the couple, who met on the ITV2 show in 2022, had quietly called it quits.
Now, a spokesperson for Dami, 29, has issued a statement shedding light on the reason behind the breakup, which came shortly after Christmas.
The brief but telling one-line statement read: ‘Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack are no longer together, having ended their relationship shortly after Christmas due to a breach of trust.’
Their split comes just days before the launch of Love Island: All Stars, where Indiyah will return as host of The Morning After podcast alongside Amy Hart.
The Mail understands Dami will not be returning to the villa as a bombshell as he is still dealing with the fallout from his breakup and not ready to find love.

A source added: ‘Dami is dealing with this privately and has no plans to issue a statement on Instagram.Â
‘He has been avoiding social media as he comes to terms with the circumstances of his split from Indiyah, which came as a complete shock.Â
‘Entering the All Stars villa is not on the cards, it’s not his style.’
In 2022, Indiyah and Dami missed out on the £50,000 prize, losing the final to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, while Gemma Owen and Luca Bish finished as runners-up.
The pair famously dubbed themselves the ‘heartbreakers’ following their explosive Casa Amor confrontation, which produced the iconic line: ‘May the best heartbreaker win.’Â
Despite briefly recoupling with other Islanders, they reunited and went on to enjoy successful careers, with Indiyah becoming a regular presenter on Capital Xtra and hosting last year’s MOBO Awards.
A source told the Daily Mail last week: ‘Indiyah and Dami have sadly decided to part ways after three years together.
‘It’s been a difficult time for them both, they built their lives together, and no one expected their relationship to end so suddenly.

‘They have no plans to enter the Love Island: All Stars villa. Indiyah is focused on co-hosting the podcast, while Dami isn’t interested, knowing it would be an unforgivable level of disrespect.’
Their breakup came as Dami shared a throwback of 20 pictures reflecting on his 2025 – none of which featured Indiyah.
He captioned the post: ‘A year full of memories, milestones, losses and growth you can’t always explain out loud. I’ve hit goals I once only dreamed about, yet I still catch myself asking, ‘Why don’t I feel content?’
‘Maybe it’s because every goal I reach becomes the starting point for something bigger.’
He added: ‘Not everything ends clean, but it ends clear. 2026 is about peace, progress, motion and exercising my free will daily.’
The couple were last seen together celebrating Indiyah’s December birthday, but they did not share any photos as a pair over the Christmas and New Year period.Â
The Daily Mail has contacted the couple’s representatives for comment.Â

Maya Jama, wearing a leather trench coat and holding a magnifying glass, said: ‘Listen up, I know you’re all over every drop of tea from the Love Island villa.Â
‘From broken hearts to bombshells that burst, you’re the perfect people to work out who’s coming back for me.
‘We’ve got the clues and they’ve got the motives, so who’s got unfinished business?’
This week, the All Stars line-up was confirmed, with returning Islanders including Millie Court, Tommy Bradley, Jess Harding and Whitney Adebayo.Â
