Love Island winners Toni Laites and Cach Mercer sparked engagement rumours as the beauty showed off a huge diamond ring while getting ready for the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday night.

The American star, 24, and London based social media star and dancer, 34, won the show in summer and have been going from strength to strength ever since.

The former Las Vegas-based waitress has now moved to the UK permanently and shared a cheeky clip getting ready for the event to her TikTok.

Set to Raye’s hit Where Is My husband! Toni held her hand up to show off the diamond ring as she mouthed the words of the song: ‘I would like a ring, I would like a ring…’

The pair then hugged and kissed as Cach gave a coy grin. Toni captioned her post: ‘@Cacherel bride of Britain incoming.’

Later while on the red carpet she moved the ring to her index finger – suggesting the TikTok video was simply a joke.

On Monday Toni revealed she had finally moved to the UK after her visa was approved. She had been splitting her time between England and America since the show finished in August.

She penned in a post: ‘MOOD BC MY VISA WAS APPROVED! The last two months has probably been the most stressful time of my life, but I am so appreciative of everyone who has supported me along the way.

‘A special shout out to @cacherel_ , thank you for being my rock while I’ve been a ‘homeless’ mess… there’s no one in the world who I’d rather spend every day with. thank you for loving me for who I am & keeping me (somewhat) ‘sane.’

‘& thank you to @ymugroup for going through this hell of a process with me…I can’t wait to do big things & make you guys proud. your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

‘Cheers to my new beginnings in the UK… I’m here to stay.’

It comes after it was reported last month that she has ‘already been lined up for spin-off show after wowing ITV bosses’ and becoming a fan favourite with viewers.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘It’s super early days as she’s only just left the villa, but there’s talk of Toni being lined up for a spin-off based around her life in Vegas as a cabana girl.

‘ITV bosses love the energy that Toni brings to the table and her one-liners. She’s got a bright future ahead of her on TV. She’ll go into talks about future plans this week.’

The Daily Mail contacted ITV for comment at the time.

During her time on this year’s show Toni struck up a romance with Cach, who is from East London.

The pair who won a £50,000 cash prize revealed how they plan to spend their money with Toni candidly admitting: ‘I need to pay off my student loans’.

She continued: ‘I want to invest it. I don’t want to go on some crazy shopping spree.’

Cach, a dancer from London, agreed with her, adding: ‘Cost of living crisis, I’ll save it!’
