LOVE Island USA winner Amaya Espinal has been rushed to the hospital for a scary medical emergency.
The Peacock star, who won the show’s seventh season with her ex, Bryan Arenales, was whisked off to the ER after experiencing severe abdominal pain.
TMZ was the first to report the news, revealing that Amaya is currently recovering in a Los Angeles hospital after undergoing emergency surgery earlier this week.
Sources told the outlet that the TV star is in stable condition and is being monitored following her procedure.
It’s unclear at this time what caused Amaya’s sudden symptoms.
The reality star has been in LA for the past couple of weeks filming Season 2 of the Love Island spin-off, Beyond the Villa.
Insiders told TMZ that she was not on set when the incident occurred.
Amaya won over fans’ hearts with her bubbly personality and clever one-liners during the latest season of Love Island USA.
After several failed attempts to find her perfect match, the New York native eventually found love with Casa Amor bombshell, Bryan.
The pair were announced the winners in the finale and secured the grand prize of $100,000.
Despite their love appearing on-camera as if it would be long-lasting, Amaya and Bryan parted ways shortly after the show wrapped in August.
Rumors were already swirling that they had ended their short-lived romance after fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
They also went their separate ways after the show ended, with Amaya venturing back to New York and Bryan to Boston, and seemed to have little interaction on social media, leading many to believe their relationship was over.
Cheating rumors later circulated, which Bryan denied, but their romance didn’t recover.
Amaya announced their split on Instagram after just over a month together.
The TV personality explained that the duo “were on two different journeys” and that she wished Bryan “the best.”
Amaya and Bryan are one of multiple couples from the season who broke off their romance.
Most recently, Chelley Bissainthe revealed she and Ace Greene were no longer together, despite being one of the strongest pairings in the villa.
Finalists Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia also ended things not long after filming concluded, and Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley shockingly split during the finale.
