Joey goes on to explain: ‘I understand that it’s a sensitive subject for you and Mimii and I want you and Mimii to move forward and be the happiest couple ever.’
The former TOWIE star, 33, asked Josh, 29, if he was ‘offended’ by his ‘awkward’ talent show rap, where he brought up the ‘secret mission’ terrace situation.
The rap included mentions of all his fellow Islanders and as the klaxon to indicate his time on the stage was up went off for a third time, everyone applauded, but Joey quipped: ‘Wait, wait, wait. When I say secret – you say mission. Secret…’
This resulted in an awkward silence, with Joey asking: ‘Anyone? Well that didn’t go that well did it?’
In the latest episode, Joey and Josh got into a heated row over the incident, with the reality star asking: ‘Surely you aren’t offended by my rap?’
An unimpressed Josh responded: ‘Don’t patronise me’
Fans were less than impressed with Joey’s recent behaviour, with one penning on X: ‘OMG Joey can shut up cause he gets offended over EVERYTHING’;
‘Joey playing the victim is soooo bizarre’;
‘A situation is never funny if it’s affecting someone. In this case it affects four people. Joey and Sean are idiots for ignoring how they feel and being incapable of apologising. It’s giving CHILDISH’

Earlier in the week Mimii Ngulube, 24, tasked Joey to secretly send Ayo Odukoya to the terrace for a chat with her.
She was seen crawling on her hands and knees across the terrace as she tried to keep a low profile from the other islanders as she waited for him to join her.
When Joey pulled Ayo, 25, for a chat to tell him that Mimii, was waiting for him on the terrace, he walked away and said no, which led Mimii to be nominated for ‘Ultimate Fail’.
As the week went on Joey ramped u
p the drama, letting the other Islanders know during a game of ‘Couple Goals’ that he had taken part in a ‘secret mission’.
He then alluded to Josh who Mimii is coupled up with that there was something more to it, but he couldn’t tell him because it was ‘a secret’.
As Ayo didn’t come to the terrace, Mimii was up for the ‘Epic Fail’ nomination, with clips showing her sat ono the floor and Ayo saying no to Joey.
The former TOWIE star then turned to the villa and said: ‘I just felt like when I saw Mimii on the floor, I felt like it was a bit seductive.’

Throughout his journey on the ITV dating show, Joey has caused a divide over his behaviour in his friendships and relationships, with some branding him a ‘master manipulator’.
Joey came under fire when he revealed Mimii’s ‘secret mission’, medaled with ex-fling Grace Jackson’s couple and disregarded Jessy Potts.
Meanwhile, unimpressed fans claimed Sean, 24, was acting out of character in a bid to secure the 33-year-old TOWIE star’s friendship.
Taking to X they wrote: ‘Sean and Joey may as well couple up’: ‘Sean is begging for that Joey Essex friendship’: ‘Not Sean turning Joey Essex into his idol’: ‘Is Sean not embarrassed? Everyone in the villa has clicked that he’s begging for Joey’s approval’.
‘Sean is really trying to stir the pot like his big brother Joey’: ‘Joey and Sean are genuinely baffling’.
Earlier this month, more complaints from outraged Love Island viewers were issued to Ofcom over the explosive Movie Night episode.
Some viewers were so upset by the heated scenes that they lodged official complaints with the broadcasting watchdog.
According to The Sun , a total of 55 complaints were written in, with Ofcom confirming many related to Nicole Samuel’s attitude towards Ciaran Davies.
During the episode, Nicole shouted at Ciaran as clips from his time in Casa Amor were played in front of the entire villa.

Both were seen second guessing their relationship with Ciaran unimpressed over Nicole referring to him as childish.
‘You just pulled me up on my biggest insecurity, that I told you,’ he told her, to which she said he was ‘giving child’.
‘It’s one thing for me, one thing for you,’ he said.
Getting angrier, Nicole replied: ‘Was there any clips of me on there getting with any boys, or being interested in any boys, or saying things with any boys?’
‘What? Because I kissed Emma in a game?’ Ciaran asked.
Fans were left furious by the scenes with some taking to X to tell Ciaran to dump Nicole after the argument.
