Love Island Drama: Jessy and Joey's Explosive Argument With Grace's Dad Entering Villa

With the Love Island final less than a week away, the drama between the contestants continued to rumble on.

And it seems there is trouble in paradise between Joey Essex and Jessy Potts as the pair have an explosive argument during Monday night’s show.

On Sunday the villa was rocked during a dramatic Grafties awards where the Islanders were nominated for categories voted for by the public which included ‘It’s Giving One Sided’ and ‘Most Dramatic Performance.’

In true Movie Night style, clips were shown that led to tempers flaring and and friendships seemingly left in tatters.

Joey, 33, took centre stage for the most part where he was nominated for three awards Ultimate Pot Stirrer, Flirtiest Performance and Unfinished Business category.

It will be a dramatic episode for Joey as he is also pulled for a chat by ex Grace’s dad as the parents make their surprise entrance into the villa

Following the awards, Jessy pulled Joey for a chat by the fire pit where things between the pair got heated very fast.

She said: ‘Where’s the reflection here Joey? Saying there’s a secret mission and then not exposing the secret mission doesn’t mean you kept the secret, it means you still exposed it!’

Joey quickly disagreed, before Jessy cut him off: ‘Let me talk Joey, I mean it!’

The pair were unable to see eye to eye on the matter and Jessy soon stormed off leaving Joey with his head in his hands.

Walking away, Jessy said: ‘Whatever Joey, I’ll talk to you later I can’t actually be f***ing arsed with you right now’.

As she headed inside the villa, she added: ‘I’m done. I’m tapping out’.

The next morning, the islanders are surprised when their families pay a visit to the villa.

During the day, things become a little intense when Grace’s dad pulls her ex Joey for a chat.

The pair are seen shaking hands before speaking to the side but ITV viewers will have to wait and see what is said during tonight’s episode.

It comes after things became rocky for Joey in the villa after he was nominated three times during the Graftie awards.

For the Flirtiest Performance award, his conversations with bombshell Lola were aired on the big screen for all to see, leaving his partner Jessy Potts less than impressed with his antics as she said: ‘Well you used the trouble maker line on me first… if she put in more of a graft would you have failed the test?’

When clips for the nominees for ‘Unfinished Business’ were shown things really kicked off.

After early VTs of Grace Jackson and Josh Oyinsan were shown where Grace admitted that she fancied Josh, Joey could be heard sarcastically saying ‘No way, that’s so bad!’ and then continually asking ‘Do you still fancy him, yes or no?’

Josh clapped back: ‘The question is, do you still fancy her?’

Joey pointing at his couple, Jessy said ‘Look what I’ve got. My situation with Grace is very different.’

Also in the nominations category were Grace and Joey. Past clips showed Joey repeatedly saying to Islanders that he thinks Grace – who he once dated prior to the show – still had feelings for him.

After he was heard saying to Jessy: ‘I think she has latched onto you because she can’t have me’ he turned to the villa and confidently confirmed: ‘Straight facts.’

During the last episode, Joey was up for the ‘Unfinished Business’ award for consistently thinking his ex Grace (pictured with her couple Reuben) still had feelings for him – something she has always denied

The villa also called Joey out on his failed ‘secret mission’ when Mimii Ngulube, 24, had tasked Joey to secretly send Ayo Odukoya to the terrace for a chat with her

After Joey said he felt it was ‘seductive’ things kicked off with Mimii saying Joey was ‘making it into a bigger thing’ and Josh calling the whole thing ‘b******t ‘

Grace shot straight back saying: ‘No offence Jessy but I didn’t need you as a friend in here.’

Reuben then said: ‘She’s in your head rent free bro, you keep bringing it up for a reason.’

Grace agreed saying: ‘I actually am rent free in your head. I don’t give a f**k!’ Why do you care?’

Also in the episode, the villa called Joey out on his failed ‘secret mission’.

Earlier in the week Mimii Ngulube, 24, tasked Joey to secretly send Ayo Odukoya to the terrace for a chat with her.

She was seen crawling on her hands and knees across the terrace as she tried to keep a low profile from the other islanders as she waited for him to join her.

When Joey pulled Ayo, 25, for a chat to tell him that Mimii, was waiting for him on the terrace, he walked away and said no, which led Mimii to be nominated for ‘Ultimate Fail’.

As the week went on Joey ramped up the drama, letting the other Islanders know during a game of ‘Couple Goals’ that he had taken part in a ‘secret mission’.

He then alluded to Josh who Mimii is coupled up with that there was something more to it, but he couldn’t tell him because it was ‘a secret’.

As Ayo didn’t come to the terrace, Mimii was up for the ‘Epic Fail’ nomination, with clips showing her sat ono the floor and Ayo saying no to Joey.

The former TOWIE star then turned to the villa and said: ‘I just felt like when I saw Mimii on the floor, I felt like it was a bit seductive.’

Earlier in the week during the villa’s ‘game in the garden’ Joey revealed that ‘he knows something no one knows’ (Joey and Ayo pictured on Tuesday)

Mimii hit back saying she didn’t like what Joey was doing, making it into a bigger thing. ‘I was just sat there’ she clarified.

Josh added: ‘When you say ‘secret mission’ it throws me into turmoil and I think another b******t is happening.’

Mimii then added: ‘The reason this has been a whole ‘secret mission’ is cos it’s come from you.’

When she collected her award, she turned to Joey and said: ‘I’m not really feeling your ting today.’

Joey wasn’t finished saying: ‘I just think it’s a bit muggy when I’m getting the blame for it but it wasn’t really anything to do with me. I was put in the situation. It’s a bit of a liberty for me. I’m very unimpressed.’
