Love Island Australia star Phoebe Spiller has slammed her female supporters for following her ex-boyfriend Mitch Eliot just hours after announcing their breakup.
The couple, who met and fell in love on the Channel Nine reality dating show in 2022, shared posts to Instagram on Monday confirming their split after two years of dating.
Taking to her Instagram Story amid the announcement, Phoebe shared a selfie over herself and Mitch crying while she put her middle finger in front of her face.
‘Guys wtf over 100 girls have followed Mitch already, EXCUSE ME FAKE FKN FOLLOWERS u girls are NOT LOYAL,’ she wrote.
The since-deleted post was re-shared by influencer watchdog account @keepingupwithaussieinfluencers, who suggested girls started following Phoebe’s ex to be ‘nosey’.
‘Phoebe’s latest story. She knows that people follow others to be nosey right? Not because they are going to hit on him,’ she wrote.
On Monday, despite explaining they still share a lot of love for one another, the 27-year-old personal trainer and 26-year-old fashion student said they ‘wanted different things’.
‘Unfortunately, me and Phoebe have decided after two years that we would go our separate ways,’ Mitch penned in his lengthy statement.

‘Thank you for everyone who has supported us from day 1.’
It comes after Mitch unveiled a new tattoo on his arm in December last year which he got in honour of his partner Phoebe.
The reality TV star took to Instagram at the time to share the surprise with his foll
owers before filming Phoebe’s reaction.
The tattoo displayed the words ‘P.S. I love you’ on his forearm.
After displaying the ink to his followers, the video abruptly cut to Mitch presenting Phoebe with an empty box with his arms outstretched.
At first, Phoebe does not notice the tattoo on his arm, but when she does, she starts to cry tears of joy.
‘Do you love it?’ Mitch asked her, to which she responded, ‘I do,’ as she continued to react emotionally.
