Love Island: All Stars cast gush over ‘sexy’ and ‘confident’ Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu as viewing figures soar after her bombshell entrance

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu made quite the entrance as she entered as a bombshell during the first episode of Love Island: All Stars on Monday evening. 

The former winner, 30, has impressed her fellow islanders, particularly the girls as they are left gushing over the star in Tuesday’s upcoming episode. 

As Ekin prepares to go on a series of dates with her three chosen men, the compliments are already flying as Kaz says: ‘She’s so confident, I love that!’ 

India then adds: ‘She’s sexy, she’ll go for it.’

As the group toast to ‘Ekin night’, the reality star’s chats with her three chosen boys soon get deep as they discuss ambition and children and she shows off a more unexpected side to her.

Ekin’s bombshell entrance saw viewing figures for the hit ITV dating show soar with the launch episode up 21% on the 2024 series.

As Ekin prepares to go on a series of dates with her three chosen men, the compliments are already flying as Kaz says: ‘She’s so confident, I love that!’

The show peaked with 1.1 million across all devices and was streamed 1.3 million times and was ITV2’s biggest 16-34 audience for six months.

However while the islanders appear to be in awe of Ekin, fans didn’t seem to have the same response after they called out the beauty for being in the running to scoop a share of the £50,000 prize money, despite having won less than three years previously.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers questioned why she would return, with one calling her comeback ’embarrassing’.

They penned: ‘Ekin is so greedy, she won so coming back again for what??’;

‘Ekinsu has no business on #LoveIsland #AllStars because she already won her formal season. Over rated’;

‘Winning love island & the 50K to return a few years later to find love again & another 50K HOW GREEDY?’;

‘Why is ekin back she alrdy won this is embarrassing. it’s so obvious she’s fame hungry esp big brother not going the way she planned. i think all the islanders know how fake she is and she’ll get dumped [sic]’

While her comeback to the ITV2 dating show caused a stir among the newly coupled-up islanders, viewers watching at home also had their say

Meanwhile, it is reported that Ekin-Su is in ‘survival mode’ and is attempting to ‘rebuild her career’ following a disastrous stint on Celebrity Big Brother last summer. 

The TV personality found herself facing the wrath of viewers on the ITV show for sucking up to Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, having a ‘fake’ meltdown over being nominated and trying to distance herself from Love Island.

Ekin-Su ultimately found herself being being ‘booed’ by the audience upon her eviction, with the star later ‘blaming the edit’ for how she was portrayed on screen.

And amid her hopes of changing the tide amid her latest reality TV stint, a source told The Mirror: ‘She had a torrid time and was hated afterwards… it’s all or nothing this time around.’ 

It comes after Ekin-Su Celebrity Big Brother co-star Zeze Millz has slammed her for appearing on Love Island, after previously trying to distance herself from the show. 

Many fans, as well as her former castmate Zeze, were confused by the decision after Ekin-Su made it clear during her time on CBB that she didn’t like being associated with the ITV dating show.

Taking to X following the launch show on Monday, the online talk show presenter, who butted heads with Ekin-Su in the Big Brother house, made her feelings known in a series of tweets to her 48,700 followers.

She wrote: ‘Ekin Su was ready to finish me when I asked her about #loveisland on Celebrity Big Brother.

‘She spent the whole #CBB talking about being above #loveisland. Ekin Suuuu! She loves it. Injecttttt the drama.’

In a later tweet, she added: ‘Ekin Su was chatting out her neck about me for 2+ weeks – but you want me to be the bigger person. Be fr please.’

Other fans also took to X to express their shock at the former winner’s return, writing: ‘Ekin-su entering the villa again after wanting to not be attached to #loveisland.’

‘Surely this isn’t the the same Ekin-Su that practically convulsed on Celeb Big Brother for someone even MENTIONING Love Island, back on All Stars? SURELY NOT? #LoveIslandAllStars.’

It comes after Ekin-Su revealed why she’s returned to the Love Island for All Stars, while making a thinly-veiled dig at ex Davide.

Speaking ahead of her comeback, the brunette beauty said: ‘I want to return to Love Island again because it’s where my journey started and has a special place in my heart.

When quizzed on what she’s looking for this time around, Ekin-Su revealed she wants ‘someone who isn’t overly self-obsessed and someone that’s aware of flaws because we all have them.’

In what could be a swipe at Davide, she added: ‘I’d like a man that will love me when I’m in the worst mood possible but still understands why and has no judgments. 

‘I’d like someone supportive, I don’t care about looks and money – I want someone to be my biggest cheerleader.’

When it comes to red flags, the biggest one for Ekin-Su is ‘someone selling the dream at the start, being perfect – because that’s not real.’

She insisted: ‘Real love and connection starts with the journey, a friendship and getting to know one another first.’
