Ayo Odukoya declared that he ‘loves’ Jess Spencer during the Love Island final.
The model, 25, has been coupled up with fashion stylist Jess, also 25, on the ITV reality dating show since she arrived as a Bombshell almost three weeks ago and he admitted in the finale that he ‘cannot wait’ to build a life with her after the show is over.
He said: ‘You are one of my biggest blessings in this life and I couldn’t have completed this journey without you.
‘I am obsessed with you; I know we say “Love you” in passing but the reality of it is that I do love you.
‘The world is our oyster and I can’t wait to explore the rest of it with you.’

Fans were quick to react to Ayo’s sweet words and praised the wannabe TV star on social media.
Several joked that it was the ‘most coherent ‘ thing that he had said on the programme, after weeks not really saying an awful lot.
Taking to X, one user wrote: ‘Ayo’s speech to Jess was really sweet for someone who barely says anything. He did well’
Another said: ‘Most coherent speech I’ve ever heard from Ayo’
A third said: ‘ayo doing a speech is something i never thought i’d hear because i remember times when he could only say “i hear you”.
In her own speech, Jess also noted how much she was looking forward to the future, even though they have only known each other for a short amount of time.
She said: ‘We have created such a special bond and a deeper connection between us that I never thought was possible in this amount of time.’

The heartfelt moment wasn’t enough to propel the couple to the winner’s spot though as they finished the show in fourth place.
Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies, Matilda Draper and Sean Stone, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan and are the last standing after Joey Essex and Jessy Potts were sent packing on Sunday.
