Love Is Blind star Marshall Glaze had a ‘vivid vision’ of himself at the altar with his new girlfriend Dr. Chay Barnes on their second date.
The reality star, 27, famously failed to make it to his wedding day with ex-girlfriend Jackie Bonds after their relationship on the Netflix dating show ended in an acrimonious split.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com about the moment he realized things would be serious with the nurse practitioner, the TV personality admitted it happened earlier than expected.
‘It was actually our second date,’ he began. ‘I had a very vivid vision – and I told her about this – where I saw our lives, years later down the line.’

He continued: ‘I finally was able to get to the altar and I saw her there. And for me it was like, “Okay, this is it”.’
After having struggled to maintain his relationship with Jackie following tensions about her desire for him to be less ’emotional’ and to be more ‘dominant’, Marshall explained that he was drawn to Chay’s ability to communicate about her vulnerability.
He explained: ‘I knew because of the conversation that we were having. They weren’t surface level.
‘She knows how to communicate and she was telling me very profound things about herself that I feel like she hadn’t shared with anybody before. That level of vulnerability just hooked me in 100 per cent and I knew from that.’
When looking back at the difference between his previous relationship and now, Marshall admitted: ‘My cousin said it best, Rejection is God’s (or the universe’s) redirection.
‘I think that that is exactly what happened to me because I have found the person who I feel like I will spend the rest of my life with.’
Marshall continued: ‘It’s hit me like a ton of bricks because of what I had gone through, not only with what happened on love is the blind, but in previous relationships.
‘I’m able to identify a lot of different ways that I’m able to show up differently in this relationship and identify different ways that my current partner is different.’

Marshall then noted: ‘Comparison is the worst and I don’t compare anybody, but it’s just Chay’s so much better and more involved. She’s just a better person for me.’
Reflecting on advice he has for others who are dating again after a big breakup, he stated: ‘I think not blocking your blessings is definitely the saying here. You’re closing yourself off to what could be your happy ending. The advice that I would say to someone like that is to lean in.’
He continued: ‘I think that closing yourself off to that vulnerability limits you and you don’t get to see if something happens if you don’t try. Like Michael Jordan said, “you miss 100 per cent of the shots you don’t take” and I think that applies to the dating world.’
Alongside Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Jackie Goldschneider and Real Housewives of Miami’s Marysol Patton, Marshall is set to get honest about the trials and tribulations of dating in a series called Tawkify Live.
Tawkify, the top matchmaking service in the US, will be enhancing the experience for their members through the upcoming episodes which will see the three hosts giving exclusive insight into their current relationships and past dating lives.
However, the TV star didn’t let his messy split get in the way of finding new love again

While the likes of Real Housewives of Beverly hills stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umanksy make headlines over the state of their marriage following their shock separation, RHONJ’s Jackie opened up about the struggle of maintaining a marriage in the public eye.
She explained: ‘As a housewife, your marriage always gets questioned. So that is challenging.
‘For my relationship, for the first 11 years of marriage, we were doing it privately, and then for the last six years, we’ve been doing it publicly.
‘Having your relationship questioned and second guessed and having people not treat your spouse the way you’d like them to be treated definitely seeps into your home life’.
Explaining how her marriage managed to make it through past scrutiny, she added: ‘We had to, for the first time, really talk about what kind of respect the other person needed and really champion the relationship.
‘You’re questioned about your marriage, and you have to suddenly prove how strong you are to other people, and that it’s definitely strengthened us.’

Jackie will be sharing her tips and insights on dating, as well as how to maintaining a long term relationship (pictured with her husband Evan)
Reflecting on how gossip and outside interest in a marriage can cause turmoil, she continued: ‘Once something is out in the stratosphere, when somebody says something on TV, there are going to be people who believe that no matter what.
‘So you have to know for yourself. Evan and I have had to sit down and be like, “we know what we are. We know who we are.”‘
She added: ‘You have to tune out a lot of the negative voices. At the end of the day, whoever doesn’t believe in your love and believe in what you have is not somebody that you need around you and your life.
‘I mean, obviously if it’s your parents you would hope they know better than to listen to other people. But, as long as you and your partner are happy and put each other first, then I feel like you can you can drown out all of the noise.’
Real Housewives of Miami ‘s Marysol Patton is also set to be hosting episodes, which will feature guest such as Bravo star Alexia Nepola, Dorinda Medley and Megahn King
Tawkify’s Director Adam Cohen Aslatei stated to DailyMail.com: ‘This show is so important because we’re sharing the most vulnerable parts of our lives. Looking back at journeys that worked and journeys that didn’t work.
‘It’s interesting because we have so many more ways to connect with people that we’re more alone than ever before. The whole purpose of the show is to turn to some of the people that we know that we trust from television and let them get raw about what they’ve been through and invite their friends on to normalize how challenging relationships and dating is.’
He continued: ‘By the way, you think the hardest part is finding love? I would argue that’s the easier part. I’ve been doing this for 14 years. Staying in a healthy and happier relationship is much more difficult than finding a person to date.’
Tawkify Live kicks off in January and will see each host take charge of around four to eight dedicated episodes where they interview their friends, as well sharing tips, stories, and strategies for success.
