Louis Walsh declared he would uncover the Celebrity Big Brother ‘snake’ after a shocking nominations twist.
The former X Factor judge vowed to seek revenge after he discovered a housemate’s attempt to oust him.
On Monday night’s episode, Fern Britton unknowingly spared Louis, after Big Brother made her believe that she was putting him up for eviction.
As she entered the diary room, Fern found a pot of gold on the diary room chair with a red toy snake on top.
Big Brother told her: ‘Fern you’ve just found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.’

After finding out about the snake, Louis Walsh declared he would uncover the Celebrity Big Brother ‘snake’ in the shocking nominations twist
‘That means you’ve been granted one wish, the biggest wish of all. You must choose one housemate to be evicted.
‘St Patrick famously banished the snakes from Ireland, and now by finding the pot of gold, you have been selected to banish a Housemate.
‘You must choose one housemate to be evicted today, you must secretly place this snake on their pillow.
‘Nobody can see you do this.’
After the Housemates found the red snake on Louis’ pillow, he was the first to be called into the diary room to nominate.
In a dramatic turn of events, viewers then found out that Big Brother had lied to Fern, as Louis was told he had been chosen by a fellow housemate to be evicted, which is why a snake was placed on his pillow.
He was then told to look into the hatch infront of him where he found a four-leaf clover, which meant his missed the next round of nominations and guaranteed his spot in the grand final.
Determined to uncover the culprit, Louis pledged to unravel the mystery, convinced it’s ‘never the obvious person.’
Pointing at Coronation Street’s Colson Smith he said: ‘I know it wasn’t him, it could be anybody else.’
Louis then said: ‘I’ve watched you all week, I’ve been watching everybody, it’s never who you think…’
Tensions have run high between Louis and Fern after the TV judge commented on her appearance.
During an earlier episode, the contestants were competing in Big Brother’s new show You’re Gonna Be A Star.
The Irish music manager , 71, sat in front of Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Zeze Millz, Lauren Simon, and Fern, 66, and asked: ‘I want to know, honestly, how things are going.’
Ekin-Su, 29, replied: ‘It’s going well’ and Zeze, 32, agreed: ‘It’s actually going well’ before Ekin-Su continued: ‘Everyone’s making an effort and we’re getting there.’
Louis replied: ‘You look great. Even Fern looks good.’
The ladies all turned to look at Fern who reacted immediately, playfully kicking the air in front of Louis.
Louis continued: ‘You know what I mean? You’re looking good.’
Crouching low in front of him, Fern repeated ‘Even Fern?’ while her co-stars told Louis he couldn’t say that.

It’s not the first time Fern and Louis have clashed after he told the women during a Big Brother challenge – You’re Gonna Be A Star- ‘You look great. Even Fern looks good’
The ladies all turned to look at Fern who reacted immediately, playfully kicking the air in front of Louis before crouching down and repeating ‘Even Fern?’
Unfazed, Louis went on: ‘And you’re looking great, no one said it was easy. But you know, only one of you is going to win. And I can only be honest, and so can Sharon.’
Ekin-Su asked: ‘What advice can you give us please?’
The former Westlife and Boyzone manager quickly answered the Love Island star: ‘Confidence. Sell it. Smile.’
Ekin-Su asked: ‘Can we be sexy?’ and Louis replied: ‘Please!’
He then shamelessly repeated: ‘Even Fern looks good.’
Viewers took to social media to blast Louis’ ‘pathetic’ dig with some threatening to switch off for ‘uncomfortable’ viewing.
