Lorraine Kelly has revealed what she would like her grandchild to be called after her pregnant daughter Rosie Smith announced that she was expecting a baby girl.
The chat show host, 64, turned conversation to the upcoming arrival of her grandchild as she spoke to Dr Hilary Jones on Monday’s episode of her programme.
Rosie, 29 – the breakfast TV presenter’s only child with husband Steve Smith – announced her pregnancy in April and is currently six months along.
But Lorraine has admitted that despite the baby’s arrival likely to be another three months away, she has been calling her Talulah Belle in her head.
‘I have no idea what she’ll be called, I’m calling her Talulah Belle in my head,’ Lorraine told Dr Hilary, before bursting out laughing and adding: ‘I don’t think she’ll be called Talulah-Belle.’

Lorraine went on to reveal something she is most excited about when the baby girl arrives – being able to take a picture of the four generations of women in her family.
She said: ‘You know what’s going to be great, when she’s here? It will be great because my mum, great-granny, granny me, Rosie mum and the wee tiny baby. ‘
‘We’ve got to get a picture of that. That’s a very special thing.’
Nodding in agreement, Dr Hilary said: ‘That will be very special. That will be very very special.’
‘Well you’re a grandad, you know what it’s like,’ Lorraine said to the TV doctor, to which he replied: ‘I do and it’s wonderful. Rosie must be so excited.’
Lorraine then gushed over how ‘beautiful’ her pregnant daughter looks.
She said: ‘She is and she’s blooming. I mean it’s six months now and she’s absolutely blooming. I’ve never seen her more beautiful. She looks incredible.’

Rosie confirmed she would be welcoming a baby girl when she gives birth in September in an interview with HELLO! on Sunday – and was adamant the child’s name would have strong ties to her Scottish heritage.
She also admitted that her and partner Steve had always planned to have children as soon as possible.
Rosie said: ‘We’d talked about it a lot and we both wanted to become parents quite young, so that our parents can be around for as much as possible.’
Rosie is also keen to reference the child’s Scottish ancestry when choosing a name, but admits she’s having a hard time finding one.
‘I really wanted to have a Scottish connection and we had a Scottish boy name sorted, but girls are hard. I’d like to have options,’ she explained.
Celebrating Rosie’s pregnancy on her ITV show, Lorraine told viewers: ‘I’m going to be a granny! How exciting is that? Granny Smith because, you know, my married name is Smith!
‘So I’m Granny Smith! We’re all very excited, it’s huge and wonderful and yeah… it’s just cheered everybody up, which is just great!
‘Thank you to everybody who has sent me messages, it was really kind of you… thank you very much, it means a lot, it means a lot!’
Opening the show, Dr. Hilary said: ‘I think congratulations are in order aren’t they grandma?’
Celebrating during her ITV show, Lorraine exclaimed: ‘I’m going to be a granny! How exciting is that? Granny Smith because, you know, my married name is Smith!’
Lorraine responded: ‘It’s not about me!… It is.’
Adding that her husband Steve had told her ‘not to interfere too much,’ she admitted: ‘How hard is that going to be not to interfere?
‘We’re just so thrilled. It’s the best and most exciting thing that has happened to our family. It’s just great!’
Rosie previously admitted she could not be more excited about her new arrival, the podcaster shared a selfie of her posing with her blossoming bump in the mirror.
She cradled her growing tummy as she shared that she was 12 weeks into her pregnancy, captioning the post: ‘We could not be more excited – you’re already so loved little one.’
In another photo, she shared her 12-week sonogram scan, in which her little one was ‘the size of a fig’.
Lorraine and her husband, Steve, welcomed their only daughter in 1994.

Speaking about having a famous mother who appears on British TV weekly, the doting mother – whose podcast is called What If? – previously admitted that Lorraine wasn’t the reason she ventured into broadcasting herself.
Rosie, who studied journalism at Edinburgh Napier University, told The Tab: ‘I don’t really see my mum as an inspiration. I mean, she’s not the reason why I’m studying journalism.
‘My dad is a cameraman, that’s how my parents met actually, whilst my uncle is in advertising and granddad worked in the television industry too. So I guess it’s in the family.
‘I had no idea what I wanted to do at uni, but my family knew a lot about journalism and the media. I also see it as fun rather than work which is important.’
‘I’ve still not decided exactly what I want to do,’ she added back in 2015.
