It comes after Lorraine drew criticism for her comments on Nigel Farage’s nude shower on I’m A Celebrity.
The former politician, 59, cemented his status as one of the most controversial figures in camp as he stripped totally naked in the famous jungle shower.
Lorraine said the ITV scene broadcast on Monday’s episode was ‘traumatising’ and went on to trash his looks, claiming she was ‘astonished’ to find out ‘he’s only 59’ and saying he ‘got the face he deserved’.
When finding out the ex-politician’s age in a chat with former MP and TV star Edwina Currie and showbiz reporter Lucie Cave, Lorraine said on Tuesday’s show: ‘Is he only 59??! I thought he was a hell of a lot older than that.
‘That is astonishing. You get the face you deserve thankfully. You really do.’
Viewers of the ITV morning show said they were disappointed with the presenter’s comments as many believed that Lorraine would not make the same comments about a woman.
