Lisa Barlow’s unfiltered red carpet appearance at Bravo Fan Fest in Miami on Saturday has sparked speculation that Bravo filters its stars on the Real Housewives series.
After People shared footage of the reality star, 49, on the red carpet, to Instagram, dozens of Instagram users took to the comment section to remark on how different Barlow looks in real life versus in person.
‘Bravo is using filters. This confirms it,’ one social media user wrote under the post.
Another commented: Bravo definitely using filters or something when they film.’
‘Okay this video proves my thought is right… the housewives shows cameras are filtered,’ a third insisted.
One Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fan slammed the mean comments about how Bravo must use onscreen retouching to digital enhance the appearance of its stars.

‘The comments don’t pass the vibe check … Lisa is an icon,’ the Instagram user wrote.
Back in 2020, she told Good Things Utah: ‘I’m really anti-injections, for me. But I love them. Like, whoever wants to get them, get them. But like my forehead moves. People don’t believe me but I’m insane about my skin and I love spray tans.’
Previously, she confirmed that she had a breast job, but claims not to have had any work done to her face.
The backlash comes after Barlow made headlines after suffering an epic meltdown on last week’s episode after being forced to fly coach.
The entrepreneur lost her cool at the end of a girls trip to Palm Springs when she discovered that host and friend Bronwyn Newport had put her and husband John in coach instead of first class.
‘I don’t carry Coach and I don’t fly coach,’ she complained in a confessional.
‘No one wants to be the last one to get off the plane,’ added Lisa, who has a reported net worth of around $5 million.
At first, Lisa tried to leave the lavish Palm Springs home that Bronwyn had rented for the trip so that she could get to the airport early and upgrade her seats.

‘It’s a small plane! You’re never gonna get first class at this point.’
‘You’re not gonna be able to fix your ticket,’ Angie Katsanevas told her.
Bronwyn then explained that there were only four seats in first class, and that she and husband Todd were occupying two of them, while the rest of the group were in ‘the next best seats’ available.
‘It’s like a 65-minute flight,’ Bronwyn added as she attempted to diffuse the situation.
Lisa then complained, ‘None of the accoutrements. We’re gonna be basic.’
She continued to whine, stating that she ‘hadn’t flown coach since college’ and ‘couldn’t remember’ the last time she was at the back of a plane.
Lisa then went to her husband and proposed the idea of staying longer in Palm Springs so that they could get a different flight with first class seats available.
‘Worst case scenario we just fly to LA,’ said the star, who is based in Utah.

Lisa later reflected on the harrowing experience during an interview on the RHOSLC after-show on YouTube.
‘We were sitting like sardines, like, super close to each other. I felt like I couldn’t move my arms or my hands,’ she said.
‘There’s lots of turbulence, you can feel every bump. No free drinks.’
