The Baggs family announced they were leaving Gogglebox after three series last year, due to work commitments.

In a joint statement, they wrote: ‘Hey everyone! Wanted to give you a quick update on the Baggs family.

‘After 3 incredible seasons on Channel 4’s Gogglebox we have taken the decision to leave the show. We have loved every second of being part of the Gogglebox family and it’s truly been the opportunity of a lifetime.

‘With lots of exciting opportunities approaching for us all, we just couldn’t commit to filming another series, but are so grateful for the opportunity.’

In September, Joe opened up further about the decision to leave, revealing he and George had wanted to take their social media careers further.

Speaking to The Useless Hotline podcast, he said: ‘There is a reason why there’s not many young people on there. It’s because we’re in this new age of social media that me and George love so much.

‘I couldn’t see myself just coming home every week and eating a takeaway and doing that for the rest of my life. There’s so much more I wanted to do, that’s why we ended up leaving.’

Joe and George began a popular YouTube podcast series called Not My Bagg, with Lisa also featuring, where they discuss their private lives and welcome guests for funny interviews.

They have so far had guests such as Spice Girl Mel C, N-Dubz, Rylan Clark, Kerry Katona, Lottie Moss and a host of Love Island and TOWIE stars.
