Lindy Klim’s Dramatic Daughter Clash on Amazing Race Australia Revealed

Lindy Klim and her daughter Stella have teased some mother-daughter sparks ahead of their appearance on The Amazing Race Australia.

The Balinese princess, 45, and her daughter, 19, will make their reality show debut when the popular Network Ten series premieres on Monday night.

Speaking to Woman’s Day, the pair revealed that they had a bit of a bust-up while filming, with Stella admitting: ‘There was that one fight.’

A shocked Lindy appeared oblivious to the supposed confrontation, replying to her daughter: ‘Was there?’

Stella then explained the blow-up occurred when Lindy apparently refused to assist her sick daughter.

‘When I was sick, I yelled at you because you wouldn’t help me,’ Stella explained.

‘But, I don’t think you could hear because I was really far away.’

Lindy also told the publication that while the duo’s antics would resonate with viewers, she was concerned about how she will be perceived.

‘I’m worried about coming off as ditzy,’ she said.

It comes after audiences were given a glimpse of those antics with a recently released trailer for the upcoming series.

The footage shows the mother-daughter duo claiming they are ‘princesses’, before promptly breaking down after encountering ‘mouldy mattresses’.

The video then cuts to them, horrified as they see the 10-bedroom dorm they would be sleeping in during the race’s first leg.

‘I can’t,’ Lindy sobbed. ‘Are you serious?’

The video returns to footage of her and her daughter Stella crying over their thin beds.

‘I’m having a panic attack!’ Lindy screamed.

‘It’s literally my worst nightmare,’ she added, before later saying: ‘I think I’m not being that much of a princess.’

Despite the theatrics, Lindy appeared to take it all in stride as she posted the trailer to her personal Instagram page.

‘Watch me have a panic attack,’ she wrote, before telling followers they could watch the first episode on Monday at 7.30pm on Channel 10.

Lindy recently revealed she had been ‘slumming it’ following her big move back to Melbourne from Bali in October last year.

The model and her family had a change of scenery after splitting from her husband of six years, Adam Ellis.

Taking to her Instagram Story in July, Lindy revealed she and her children had been using a cardboard box as a dining table.

She shared one photo that depicted an open-plan living and dining space with an enviable view of the Melbourne skyline.

'When I was sick, I yelled at you because you wouldn't help me,' Stella explained. 'But, I don't think you could hear because I was really far away'

Taking pride of place in the image was a stylish circular dining table with a thick, burgundy base and four matching chairs surrounding it.

Captioning the image, Lindy revealed the table was a very recent addition to the household.

‘I’m so proud of myself,’ she wrote.

‘I’ve finally bought a dining table and chairs.’

‘We have literally been eating off a cardboard box on the floor for months,’ she added, augmenting the quip with a cry-laugh emoji.
