Lindsay Lohans Dad Faces Major Health Crisis

's dad Michael Lohan Sr. suffered a major health scare and was hospitalized at least two times in past few weeks.

The movie star's 66-year-old father had recently undergone an angioplasty procedure to place a stent in his heart to open up a blockage in an artery.

He told TMZ that the procedure he recently underwent was to place a stent in his heart. 

Previously, Michael Sr. recalled experiencing symptoms of extreme lethargy and shortness of breath for weeks.  His doctors later informed him that they found a blockage and needed to surgically place a stent in his heart. 

However, after being discharged and healing from the surgery, he experienced a health scare at home and had to return to the hospital again. 

He told the outlet that just two weeks earlier, he passed out in his house while folding clothes.

In the past, Lindsay, 39, has had a strained relationship with her father marked by long periods of estrangement before they eventually reconciled in recent years. 

She is the eldest out of four children Michael Sr. .
