Lindsay Lohan expressed ‘disappointment’ with a line in the new Mean Girls movie that appeared to reference her.
The actress, 37, felt slighted after the Tina Fey musical featured a joke using the term ‘fire crotch’, which was an insult hurled at the star back in her days of hanging out with Paris Hilton.
In 2006, a video surfaced showing Paris laughing while her friend Brandon Davis used the term and hurled other insults at Lindsay.
‘Lindsay was very hurt and disappointed by the reference in the film,’ her rep told The Messenger on Monday.
A source also said they overheard the star say she was ‘surprised and taken aback’ after seeing Megan The Stallion use ‘fire crotch’ during her cameo.
Lohan was a trooper by support the film during its premiere last week in New York City.

While Lindsay had her own cameo in the new musical movie, she was unaware the joke was going to be featured until she watched the movie for the first time at the New York premiere, per the outlet.
In the new flick, Megan Thee Stallion pops up to praise the new popular girl, Cady (played by Lindsay in the OG).
The rapper says in a TikTok-like clip: ‘Fire crotch is back.’
Fans were quick to point out the casual remark served as a reference to oil heir Brandon’ explicit 2006 tirade about Lindsay.
One even posted: ‘Remember when Paris Hilton and all of her friends called Lindsay Lohan fire crotch?? Yeah me too.’
Back around the time the 2006 video emerged, the derogatory nickname swiftly gained popularity.
Some even defended Megan Thee Stallion online, as one wrote, ‘Damn Meghan can’t catch a break. Why did they put that line in her script.. she probably didn’t know it was a real life insult to Lohan.’
Lohan attended the premiere last Monday, reuniting with writer and co-star Fey.

Fey, returning as the writer and reprising her role as Ms. Norbury, adds to the latest adaptation.
‘The original movie is really Lindsay’s movie, you know? She’s just luminous through it,’ Fey told CBS on Monday.
‘I thought if she was gonna do anything, I thought it might be nice to have her come kind of late in the movie when you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, I didn’t think,’ you’ve so much forgotten that you’re looking for cameos.’

The SNL alum worked her magic once again, as two decades after captivating audiences with the original, the latest rendition of the Mean Girls franchise, titled Mean Girls: The Musical, took over the box office this weekend.
‘We knew that, you know, the Broadway show brought so much joy to so many people and we only closed because the pandemic came,’ Fey added.
‘And I just knew there was more joy to be had and I wanted more people to experience this. I felt like there was nothing but joy to be had on the other side of this.’
Fey has yet to publicly respond to the news of Lindsay being ‘hurt’ by the joke.
