Lily Allen proved she was every inch a West End Girl as she supported director Matthew Dunster at the Hunger Games: On Stage premiere night.
The singer, 40, looked incredible in a sheer black dress and Louboutin heels as she arrived at the Troubadour Theatre in London’s Canary Wharf on Wednesday.
It was a pivotal moment for Lily, who released her album West End Girl late last month, detailing the demise of her marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour.
In the semi-autobiographical album, Lily detailed how she felt David’s ‘demeanor start to change’ when she secured a leading role in 2:22 – A Ghost story, which was also directed by Matthew.
In the opening track, the songstress includes her recollection of a phone call with the actor, 50, while she was in London for the play, hinting this was the time he told her he wanted to have an open marriage.
Lily secured the role in 2021 and won a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress.

She sings: ‘Later that evening you said how was my day/ I said “I got some good news, I got the lead in a play”/ That’s when your demeanor started to change/ You said that I’d have to audition, I said “you’re deranged”.’
The songstress accused David of having multiple affairs including a three-year affair with a younger costume designer.
The hitmaker said: ‘There are definitely some things that happened in my real life that are reflected on this record.’
Last month Lily hinted that her ex-husband ‘refused to give answers’ when asked about his three-year affair with a younger colleague.

The show had its preview night last month and some fans were left unimpressed as they complained there were lengthy delays.
Footage shared on TikTok showed spectators queuing outside the theatre at 7:30pm, when the show was due to start, with some posting it eventually started an hour late.
Many then moaned that due to the three-hour run time and interval, this meant they didn’t exit the venue until 11:45pm.
Despite this, some fans admitted they still enjoyed the show, with several taking to social media to praise its take on the famous tale of Panem.
