The 40-year-old singer's highly anticipated tour for her latest album, West End Girl, received a flaky upgrade this week as the pop icon revealed how Newcastle favourite, Greggs, surprised her with a one-of-a-kind personalised pastry collection.
The Madeline singer took to Instagram to share with her 2.1 million followers that Greggs had delivered a bespoke delivery backstage during her recent tour stop at Newcastle City Hall last weekend.
In a nod to her latest musical era, the box featured a reimagined version of the West End Girl album cover, hilariously named '(Honorary) North East Girl', with Lily’s legendary designer-padded jacket updated to feature the signature Greggs blue and yellow logo.
Meanwhile, in another photo, Lily shared that the album's back cover had also received a pastry makeover, with her iconic thigh-high boots reimagined in the shape of the equally iconic Sausage Roll, alongside a 'tracklist' of the six bakes inside.
In another snap, Lily can be seen reading the insert to the bespoke mailer featuring tongue-in-cheek references to her songs.
