But one thing Lily Allen won’t be recognised for is doing her own laundry, as she still enlists the help of her mum to do it.
Talking on her BBC Miss Me? podcast, the singer, 39, also admitted that she asks her husband David Harbour and her two children, Ethel, 12, Marnie, 11 who she shares with her ex Sam Cooper to do it for her because she ‘has a fear.’
She said: ‘Do you want to know a secret? I don’t know how to use a washing machine.
‘I have this fear of shrinking and dyeing clothes so I just don’t do it. David and the kids do the washing, I’ll iron but I don’t even like putting things in the drier. I’m scared.’

She added: ‘The kids are really good at it. Ethel is particularly good at using the washing machine but I have a fear of it. I don’t want to go near it.’
It comes after Lily found herself caught up in the mass Microsoft outage which has sparked chaos around the globe and triggered travel mayhem.
In a now-deleted social media post, the singer took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to express her frustration at the situation that has left her ‘stuck at Heathrow’ with ‘no solution’.
She quipped: ‘@British_Airways you totally mismanaged the queues which meant we missed our flight home and now I’m stuck at Heathrow with two kids and no solutions as to how we get on another flight.’
British Airways promptly responded with: ‘Hi Lily. We’re very sorry to hear this. We appreciate this must be frustrating. We’ve replied to your message on Instagram if you wouldn’t mind getting back to us there so that we can look into this for you.’
Lily’s troubles come after her glamorous holiday in Tuscany, where she was soaking up the Italian sun.
