Liev Schreiber shrugged off recent health worries as he showed off his fit frame during a sun-soaked family escape to Barbados.
The 58-year-old actor went shirtless on the beach Tuesday, strolling through the sand in swim trunks before heading out for a day on the water.
Photos obtained by DailyMail.com show Schreiber joined by two of his three children – Sasha, 18, and Kai, 17 – along with one of their friends as they boarded a boat for water sports.
Clearly in good spirits, the Ray Donovan star was later seen waterskiing and soaking up the Caribbean sunshine with his kids.
The carefree getaway comes weeks after Schreiber sparked concern when he was hospitalized after suffering what was described as a ‘massive headache.’
At the time, a source told the Daily Mail that the actor was left ’embarrassed’ by the attention, adding that he disliked people knowing he sought hospital care for a headache because it made him appear ‘weak’ while he remains at the height of his career.

But the star is also just glad he is feeling much better as the pain was ‘intolerable’ and he is grateful to the doctors who helped him.
It’s not the first time the actor has had a health scare related to a headache.
In 2024, he revealed that he was diagnosed with a rare condition called transient global amnesia (TGA), brought on by a migraine, while starring in ‘Doubt: A Parable’ on Broadway.
TGA is a rare, benign condition characterized by a sudden episode of memory loss that resolves completely within 24 hours, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
‘The worst nightmare that an actor could possibly ever experience. I was in my dressing room and I had a terrible headache. I thought it was maybe a fast-food headache, but it felt a little stronger than that,’ he shared during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
‘I’m walking down the stairs and I’m thinking, “This is not normal. I don’t feel okay.”‘
He said he knew ‘something was really wrong’ when he saw his co-star, Amy Ryan, backstage but could not remember her name.
His condition worsened when he stepped back onstage and could not remember his lines.

At one point, Schreiber was spotted confidently waterskiing behind the boat, flashing a broad smile
‘It all vanishes,’ he explained. ‘The play is gone from my head… I know I’m in a play, but I don’t know what play I’m in.’
‘My doctor, who’s a friend, shows up, and he had a terrified expression. My wife shows up, and she looks terrified. I think, “Okay, I’ve had a stroke. This is it.”‘
Despite being diagnosed with Transient Global Amnesia, Schreiber was certain he had suffered a stroke.
‘The guy said, “You’ll never have this again and it’ll be gone in 8 to 24 hours,” which I didn’t believe. You know, as a typical sort of Jewish hypochondriac person, I’m convinced that I had a stroke and they just didn’t find it.’
Schreiber revealed that he got an MRI and it showed that there was no brain bleed, and that his brain looked ‘perfectly fine.’
‘Apparently it’s brought on by migraines and rigorous coitus,’ he quipped.
‘I go to sleep, I wake up, I remember the whole play,’ he recalled. ‘I never had another problem with it. I was embarrassed and thought everyone would think I was lying and taking a night off from the theater.’
Meyers joked that it was ‘so sad’ that the Emmy-nominated star got TGA from a migraine and not from sex.
The outing marked a clear contrast to recent weeks, which saw the actor briefly hospitalized in New York City

‘I know! When the other option is to literally have your brains f***** out, I had to get it from a migraine,’ Schreiber said with a laugh.
Schreiber is perhaps best known for starring in the title role of the Showtime crime drama series Ray Donovan, which aired from 2013 until 2020.
The San Francisco native is married to Taylor Neisen, 32; they met in 2017, married in July 2023, and had their first child, a daughter named Hazel Bee, in August 2023.
He also shares son Sasha and daughter Kai – who came out as transgender earlier this year — with his ex Naomi, 57.
The pair dated for 11 years before splitting up in September 2016.
