Liam Gallagher has sparked hopes of an Oasis reunion after he posted a cryptic message to his brother Noel.
The Britpop band – known for the likes of Wonderwall and She’s Electric – sensationally split in 2009 after a backstage bust-up between the warring brothers.
In the 14 years that have followed, Liam, 51, and Noel, 56, have traded bitter insults back and forth in interviews and over social media.
But on Tuesday, Liam posted a major hint towards an Oasis reunion, reaching out to his elder brother for a ‘cuddle’, while declaring: ‘Oasis till I die.’
He wrote: ‘Listen I love Rkid he’s going through a lot of snizxle at the moment and it’ll work itself out he knows where I am if he needs a cuddle n a hug Oasis till I die LG x’

The cryptic message has now received over 20,000 likes as fans began to get their hopes up of long-awaited tour dates.
One said: ‘TFW you realise what could be happening right now.’
Another longtime fan added: ‘All i want is an Oasis reunion. I need to see the Gallagher bros back together again on stage, iv only seen Oasis Live once at Manchester and it was biblical! C’mon Noel sort it out !!!!’
Liam then began a Q&A on his X, formerly known as Twitter, account, responding to a fan who asked: ‘If noel walked up to you in the street what would you say to him?’
He responded, in his typical profanity-filled style: ‘I’d say what the f*** are those hob nail boots on your plates all about there offensive your from Manchester you should know better as we take our 3 b 2s very seriously take them off and I’ll give you a piggy back home.’
Noel was left devastated after splitting from his wife of 12 years Sara McDonald earlier this year.
Earlier this year he accused his brother of trying to rewrite the history of their band Oasis.
Liam has announced a huge arena tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe and he claims he wants Noel to be a part of the gigs – but Noel is not convinced.
He told the Daily Star: ‘The last tour was not happy. The other fella is trying to rewrite history that it was all f**king great. It wasn’t.
‘It was a f**king dreadful last year of Oasis.

‘You get one shot at life. Why be unhappy? Whether it be in your personal or professional life, why?
‘You’re just wasting a precious thing.’
Noel recently said it’s up to his brother to make peace – even calling him a ‘coward’ and insisting he’ll never make the call to reunite Oasis.
Speaking on talkSPORT radio, Noel explained: ‘Well, I put it out there. [Liam] won’t call … I mean, he should call me, because he’s like, he’s forever going on about it. You’d have thought by now, he’d have some kind of plan.
‘He doesn’t have to speak to me. He won’t speak to me, he’s a coward. So he should get some of his people, his agent, to call my people and say, “Look, this is what we’re thinking.” And then we’ll have a conversation about it. Until then, he’s being a little bit disingenuous.’
However, Liam later responded to Noel’s comments in a post on Twitter, ranting: ‘He’s full of s**t he HATES Oasis fans [but] doesn’t mind them buying his records.’
English rock band Oasis initially consisted of Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll – with Liam’s older brother Noel later joining as a fifth member.
There had been early tensions between the brothers ever since they rose to huge fame in the 1990s but Oasis imploded in 2009 amid a bitter fall out between the Gallagher siblings.

According to reports an argument broke out, with Liam wielding Noel’s guitar around ‘like an axe’.
It was the last straw for the duo and the show was cancelled, along with the rest of the tour.
Noel issued a statement at the time: ‘It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight.
‘People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.’
In another statement a few days later, titled ‘Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere’, Noel added: ‘The details are not important and of too great a number to list. But I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable.
‘And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new.’
The duo quickly went their separate ways when the band disbanded and their infamous decade-long feud has been running ever since.
Noel revealed in 2021 that he was the one to spark the bitter feud with his brother Liam.

The Oasis rocker spoke of how Liam had given him clothes from his brand Pretty Green before it launched in 2009, only for him to donate it, unworn, to a charity shop.
Marking what was ‘the beginning of the end’, Noel told The Matt Morgan Podcast how his brother ‘went f**king mental’ when he discovered his clothes were on ‘a shop mannequin in Barnardo’s’ before he had even launched the brand.
Reliving the tale, Noel said: ‘Liam gave us a load of clobber, not just me, he gave the band it. I went straight to the charity shop and left it in the shop doorway.
‘He went f**king mental. He said, ‘If you didn’t f**king want it, you should have just said you didn’t f**king want it, you c***.
‘It was on the shop mannequin in Barnardo’s a month before it launched. If push comes to shove, that was the beginning of the end.’
In March 2023 Liam insisted an Oasis reunion was ‘happening’ 14 years after the iconic band’s split.
The group’s former frontman is adamant he and estranged sibling and guitarist Noel are going to put their years of feuding behind them and take to the stage together one more.
Responding to a Twitter follower who asked what the chances of the Britpop group reuniting are, he replied: ‘It’s happening.’
Noel recently admitted he’ll ‘never say never’ to an Oasis reunion: ‘You should never say never, [but] it would have to take an extraordinary set of circumstances.
‘That’s not to say that those circumstances would never come about.’
The Champagne Supernova hitmaker was then asked how he and Liam are getting on these days, to which he replied: ‘Oh, brilliantly, yeah. Genuinely, yeah.
‘He [Liam] has taken a year out apparently to find himself.’
This summer, Noel revealed what he thinks the highly-anticipated Oasis reunion would look like if it were to ever happen.
Teasing a reunion once again in an interview with The Sun, Noel cheekily shared his thoughts on what the gig would look like, remarking: ‘Me, Liam and a load of fit f**king birds.’
