Lexi Hughes, 19, Amanda Holden Lookalike, Becomes Face of Superdrug’s Teen Skincare Line

Lexi Hughes is her mum Amanda Holden’s lookalike in new pictures as she launches her own skincare range for Superdrug.

The 19-year-old, who is the eldest daughter of the Britain’s Got Talent judge, has become the face of the pharmacy’s new teenage range, POP.

It aims to provide a safe alternative to adolescents and young adults, who would otherwise use products for adults that could harm their skin.

Speaking about becoming an ambassador, Lexi told the Daily Mail: ‘Being part of a their new own-brand skincare launch POP means I get to share a brand that’s well researched, uncomplicated, and that is fun to use.

‘The products feel really good and are very calming for young skin. I also love that the products are approachable and very affordable but still look and feel really exciting.’

While the young model paves a career for herself and follows in her famous mums footsteps, her studies are still just as important.

Lexi, whose father is former drummer Chris Hughes, explained: ‘I’m just starting out and I’m very focused on Uni and doing a good job.

‘I try to stay focused on simple things, and the things I love doing and surround myself with my friends and family.’

Lexi has often been described as Britain’s Got Talent star Amanda’s mini-me, with the pair sizzling in almost identical bikinis on holiday in August.

‘We both love fashion and we enjoy trying new things and finding what works for us,’ Lexi said.

The teenager couldn’t heap enough praise on her, gushing: ‘She’s always there to cheer me on and give advice but also lets me find my own path and have fun with my projects.’

Amanda has been given the ‘cool mum’ badge, and is popular with her daughter’s friends group, with Lexi adding: ‘My mum is so supportive, kind, smart and fun – she’s the best and I am very lucky to have her.’

Last year Amanda beamed with pride as she told her fans how Lexi had landed her first university choice after impressive A-level results.

Lexi made her runway debut in September 2024, walking for Fran Hung at London Fashion Week.

She now plans to continue paving her career in modelling as well as beauty on the back of her Superdrug campaign.

Lexi said: ‘I want to keep exploring modelling and fashion, and now that I’ve done my first beauty campaign with Superdrug and POP, I’m excited to continue working on projects in beauty too.

‘I love being able to share things I’m passionate about with other young people and discover new opportunities in these areas.’

Amanda recently revealed how Lexi’s younger sister Hollie, 14, has no plans to work in showbiz and has snubbed fame.

She told The Sun: ‘I picked Hollie up from her new school the other day and she does not want any connection with me.

‘I got out of the car, she saw me and literally crossed the road.’

Her husband Chris stepped in to defend her, shouting out that their daughter that she should be proud.

But Amanda laughed how her teenager was having none of it, adding: ‘She’s like, ‘mum, please get back in the car!’ So they’re both very down to earth.’

Despite her children’s lack of interest in her fame, Amanda said she was proud they’d grown up with their feet firmly on the ground, describing her family life as ‘normal and chaotic’ away from the cameras.

Amanda also defended Lexi, who is signed to modelling agency Storm, against ‘nepo baby’ claims, noting her daughter works two jobs alongside her studies.

POP is available in Superdrug stores and online from October 26.
