Bill Pullman's son Lewis opened up about being branded a 'nepo baby' as he attended the 2026 on Sunday.

Lewis, 33, whose father is best known for roles in Independence Day and While You Were Sleeping - was talking to Variety when the subject of nepotism came up.

The 33-year-old actor was asked if he thinks nepotism helps and he answered with a resounding yes.

'How could you not? I think it's undeniable...' began the boyfriend of model .

The 24-year-old brunette beauty is also a as her mother is Vogue supermodel .

The son of Bill Pullman - best known for Independence Day and While You Were Sleeping - was asked by Variety what he thinks about becoming an actor after his father did it first 

And Pullman admitted his dad has helped him.

'It's interesting you know, he has helped me in so many ways, I think the most crystalized way is just being such an amazing supportive dad - and my mom,' said the actor.

'A lot of people get discouraged by their parents because it is kind of a pipe dream, but I had support, and that does a lot more than anything in so many.'

Pullman is best known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick (2022), Lessons in Chemistry (2023), and as Bob Reynolds/Sentry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The son of actor Bill Pullman and dancer Tamara Hurwitz has built a reputation for playing unassuming yet complex characters.

He attended Wildwood School in Los Angeles for high school. 

In 2015, Pullman graduated from Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, North Carolina.

Pullman began his acting career with several short films, starting with The Tutor in 2013.

After graduating college 11 years ago, he was asked by filmmakers Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris to audition for Highston, a television series from Sacha Baron Cohen.

Pullman landed the lead role as a 19-year-old whose imaginary friends were real-life celebrities. 

However, it was canceled after only one episode.

Pullman made his feature film acting debut in 2017 with The Ballad of Lefty Brown, a Western starring his father.

He then starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger in Aftermath. 

In 2018, Pullman had a leading role in the slasher film The Strangers: Prey at Night. That same year, he starred alongside Jeff Bridges and Dakota Johnson in Bad Times at the El Royale.

In 2019, Pullman had a recurring role as Major Major Major Major in Catch-22. He also starred in Them That Follow and then Pink Skies Ahead.

In 2022, Pullman played Rhett Abbott in Outer Range. In the Tom Cruise film Top Gun: Maverick he starred as Lieutenant Robert 'Bob' Floyd.

As of January 2025, Pullman is dating model Kaia Gerber who is also a nepo baby as her mother is Cindy Crawford; seen in September

In 2023, Pullman played a youth pastor in The Starling Girl, the president of a fraternity in The Line, and had a major role in William Friedkin's final film, The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. 

He also starred in Lessons in Chemistry.

In 2024, he was in a film adaptation of Stephen King's 1975 novel Salem's Lot. Then came Thunderbolts. He will be in Avengers: Doomsday this year.
