The 79-year-old actress kicked off her successful career in the entertainment industry in the early 60s.
She gained recognition as she took on the leading role in the 1965 adaptation of Disney's Cinderella alongside other stars including Ginger Rogers and Stuart Damon.
Warren went on to appear in shows such as Gunsmoke, Mission: Impossible, 79 Park Avenue, Family Of Spies, Will & Grace and Desperate Housewives.
She worked alongside Julie Andrews in the 1982 musical Victor/Victoria as well as Tim Curry in the mystery comedy Clue (1985).
The star has raked in a number of award nominations over the years based on her performances and notably took home a . See her now just months before her 80th birthday.

Warren kept it casual as she was spotted enjoying a lowkey stroll in Beverly Hills over the past weekend.
She donned a fuzzy, cream-colored jacket as well as a pair of black and red-checkered trousers.

'There was so much turmoil and emotional ups and downs given what my character had to go through.'
She further expressed, 'Plus, I love period movies. I love getting to be in the 1930s and 1940s. It was my idea of heaven.'
In 1982, Warren's career continued as she worked alongside Julie Andrews, James Garner, Robert Preston, Alex Karras and John Rhys-Davies in the musical Victor/Victoria.
She garnered an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress based on her performance.
Warren went on to star in more films in the 80s such as Songwriter (1984).

The actress played Miss Scarlet in Clue (1985) which is based on the board game of the same name.

During an interview with Forbes last year, Warren said that she is 'very proud to have been in something that.'
She continued, 'I always say that the advent of television is what pushed Clue into the minds and the hearts of people in a way that the movie, when it opened, didn't do, really.
'It had this cult momentum that was astounding. People are so in love with it. It makes me so happy. Professionally, I'm not sure that it has actually affected my professional life.'
And in regards to her character of Miss Scarlet, Warren told CBS, 'What I love about Miss Scarlett, she takes no s***. It was a great chance to kind of explore all of that behavior.'
While the movie was not a box office success upon its release in theaters, the film has since developed a cult following.
