Camila Morrone made a rare remark about her past relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio, four years after their spilt, in a new interview with The Times.
While reflecting on navigating scrutiny in the public eye, the 28-year-old model and actress looked back on their four-year romance and growing up surrounded by fame.
‘When you’re an actor people will always find things about your personal life,’ Morrone said. ‘Perhaps with projects that will change, but it’s something that comes with the territory. Having grown up in Hollywood, I was around it. I was around celebrities. It’s normal [for people] living in LA to see Brad Pitt at the coffee shop, you know?’
Morrone, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, also referenced her longtime proximity to the entertainment industry through her family, noting her close connection to legendary actor Al Pacino.
‘He is technically not my stepfather, but he was my mom’s partner for a very long time,’ she explained, referring to Pacino’s decade-long relationship with her mother, Lucila Solá, from 2008 to 2018.
‘I knew how ruthless the industry was, and the scrutiny and the spotlight on people in this industry,’ Morrone continued.

Her comments come years after her highly publicized romance with DiCaprio, whose dating history has long drawn attention due to his pattern of relationships with significantly younger women.
Morrone and DiCaprio began dating in 2018, when she was 20 and he was 43, and were together for four years before calling it quits in 2022 – just two months after she turned 25.
At the time, a source told E! News that distance played a major role in their split, citing the pair’s demanding travel schedules and career commitments.
Another insider told The Sun that there were ‘no bad feelings between them,’ adding that the relationship had simply ‘came to a natural conclusion.’
Morrone, who is 23 years younger than DiCaprio, was first introduced to the actor in 2008 when she was just 12 years old, through Pacino – a longtime friend of DiCaprio’s.
The Revenant star reportedly remained close with Morrone’s family for years before their romantic relationship began a decade later.
Morrone got her start as a model, and transitioned into an acting career; her first film role was in 2013 in the project Bukowski.
Her biggest role to date was the role of Camila Dunne in the series Daisy Jones & The Six, a series that aired on Amazon Prime.

DiCaprio and Morrone officially got together sometime in 2017, following his breakup with model Nina Agdal just days before the Cannes Film Festival, though representatives for both initially denied that they were together.
The two raised their relationship’s profile the following year, when they attended Ellen DeGeneres’ birthday party together, and they were seen later in the year showing off some PDA at Coachella.
Later in 2018, an anonymous source told People that the relationship had escalated in seriousness, as the two were ‘very in love and serious’ and ‘talked about getting engaged.’
The source claimed that Leo had ‘never loved a girl like this,’ and he was even considering having children with his new love.

DiCaprio, 50, is currently in a relationship with Italian-born model Vittoria Ceretti, 27.
They started dating in 2023 after meeting at the Cannes Film Festival, where his film Killers of the Flower Moon premiered.
Prior to Morrone, DiCaprio dated a number of other beautiful women, including Gisele Bundchen and Blake Lively – all before they turned 25.
Vittoria was previously married from 2020 until 2023 to Italian DJ Matteo Milleri.
From September 2022 to early 2023, he was romantically linked to Gigi Hadid, who was said to be the oldest woman the the movie star dated.
Hadid, now 30, was also the first woman he’s dated that has a child.
However their romance was short lived, and she has since moved on to date Bradley Cooper, 51.
