The successful pair will also work on the upcoming The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder.
The film is based on the non-fiction New York Times best-seller by the same name.
The movie will tell the story of the British naval ship the Wager, which was wrecked off an island off the tip of South America in 1740, and the crew’s efforts to survive while battling the elements and human nature.
DiCaprio will produce both projects via his Appian Way production company.
