Leonardo DiCaprio kept a low profile as he took his mom out on Mother’s Day.

The slimmed down Oscar  winner, 50, looked relaxed in a navy blue golf shirt, khaki pants and sneakers as he waited by the valet stand wearing a billed cap and sunglasses after lunching with Irmelin Indenbirken, 82, at Chez Mia French restaurant in West Hollywood, CA. 

The 11th Hour producer looked lovely in a long sleeve floral dress. Her shoulder length blonde hair was styled straight.

The Blood Diamond extra was seen holding a bouquet of bright yellow flowers as part of the celebration. 

Although they’ve been divorced since the Growing Pains actor was a year old, Indenbirken’s ex-husband George DiCaprio, 81, was also at the lunch. 

The elder DiCaprio looked smart in a white golf shirt and blue pants.

The Don’t Look Up star’s parents divorced when he was only a year old and he is their only child, although Leo has a step-brother, Adam Farrar, 53, from George’s previous relationship.

‘I would not be standing up here if it wasn’t for this person,’ the actor said in 2016 when he accepted the Best Actor award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts award for his performance in The Revenant. 

‘I didn’t grow up in a life of privilege. I grew up in a very rough neighborhood in East Los Angeles…. This woman drove me three hours a day to a different school to show me a different opportunity,’ he said of his mom’s sacrifice.

The future Titanic star was a scholarship student at University Elementary School, now called the UCLA Lab School.

Since his time, there, DiCaprio has created scholarships for lower income students at the school along with a climate education program. 

Indenbirken worked mostly as a secretary, but also took other jobs to support them. 

As part of his environmental activities, the Great Gatsby star named a snake in honor of his mother.

The Sibon irmelindicaprioae is a snail-eating snake found in Panama and Colombia.

The survival of the tree-dwelling reptiles has been threatened by deforestation due to gold and copper mining, according to Mongabay.com. 

DiCaprio was scheduled to jet off to the Cannes Film Festival, where he will present his longtime friend and co-star Robert DeNiro the prestigious Palme d’or on Tuesday. 

The two have starred in several films together, most recently the Oscar nominated Killers of the Flower Moon. 

The ceremony will be broadcast live on French television.
