Leigh-Anne Pinnock has candidly opened up about the challenges in her marriage to footballer Andre Gray.
The former Little Mix star, 34, joined Rosie and Chris Ramsey on their sh***ed, Married, Annoyed podcast on Monday, where she discussed her ‘hard’ family dynamic with her four-year-old twin daughters and her husband Andre, also 34.
Andre currently plays for Turkish club Fatih Karagümrük, meaning he spends long periods away from his family home in the UK.
Discussing their long-distance relationship, Leigh-Anne explained: ‘Even now with my husband living abroad… we probably see each other, maybe if we are lucky, three days in a month. It’s so s**t.’
Confirming that he currently lives in Turkey, she added: ‘We have been doing that for three years. They (the twins) have just turned four.’
Host Rosie then remarked: ‘That’s hard, that must be hard for him as well though?’

Leigh-Anne replied: ‘So hard. He’s struggling a little bit to be fair.’
The singer tied the knot with Andre in June 2023 after welcoming their twins together in August 2021.
However, their relationship hasn’t always been plain sailing.
In June 2024, Leigh-Anne revealed her husband Andre ‘broke her heart’ in the early days of their relationship in a TikTok video.
During the video clip, the star implied that things weren’t always plain sailing for the couple as she told how he had changed his ways to be with her.
Leigh-Anne revealed that she ‘learnt the power of forgiveness’ as the footballer ‘went out of his way to change for her’.
When asked what she learnt about her last heartbreak, Leigh-Anne admitted she is still with the person who broke her heart.
She said: ‘I learnt the power of forgiveness. I’m still with the person who broke my heart, and he went out of his way to change for me.

‘I think if you can actually get to the other side and make it through it, it makes it all worthwhile.
‘Some people might say, oh well, why are you still with them? or why are you still giving them another chance? I guess that can be seen as a weakness and not putting yourself first, but I think only you know what is truly right for you.’
Leigh-Anne went on to say that at the time, the couple got through the ‘struggle’ and now they are in a ‘really beautiful place’.
She continued: ‘If that person can really show that they want to change, you cannot change somebody, but if they go out of their way to change themselves, I really do think that kind of tells you everything you need to know.
‘For me personally, I had to go through these struggles and things in our relationship to get to the point where we are now, which is a really beautiful place.’
The Don’t Say Love songstress also added that it is ‘OK’ to forgive someone, and it doesn’t have to come across as ‘a weak thing to do’ as it can be ‘healing’.
Leigh-Anne said: ‘It is OK to give somebody another chance, but it isn’t OK to let somebody take the piss out of you.
‘Make sure you have those barriers up to protect yourself and to know when enough is enough.

‘It takes being hurt to sort of build that armour up to be like, I’m not going through that again. Don’t see forgiveness as a weak thing to do, it can be a really powerful and healing thing.’
It comes after Leigh-Anne opened up about her rocky relationship with Andre in 2023.
She revealed at the time that ‘he still had a lot of growing up to do’ in their early relationship and cryptically discussed how people deal with getting cheated on by a partner.
She told Glamour Magazine: ‘I think people often think that if something bad happens in a relationship – if you get cheated on or whatever – that it’s automatically done, it’s over, and that’s fair enough. but in my case, I chose to work at it, and I am so happy that I did.’
Leigh-Anne attributed some of their early struggles to the toxic masculinity within the football industry as she hinted at their past difficulties.
She went on: ‘Unfortunately, I think a big part of it was his environment and the stereotype that comes with it. In my case, I found it to be quite true, but I’ve watched him grow, and we’ve come so far.’
‘When you know you have something special, you want to fight for it. If it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out, but if it does, my God, it feels great,’ she added.
