Temuera Morrison has been spotted eyeing off a spectacular Queensland mansion.

But the asking price of $9-10million on the four-storey waterfront home proved to be too rich for the New Zealand born actor, best known for playing Boba Fett in The Mandalorian.

Located in ritzy Broadbeach Waters, 3kms from the Gold Coast, the luxurious pad boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms and roof top VIP ‘party zone’.

Morrison, 63, was already familiar with the resort style property after using the home as a location for his 2023 surfing film Sons of Summer reported News.com. 

It was last listed in 2023 for $9.9million.

But after arranging for a private inspection on May 4, known to fans as ‘Star Wars Day’, Morrison told sales agents that the hefty price tag was more than he was prepared to spend.

He added that was still keen to find a place on the Gold Coast.  

‘When I want to get away, have a bit of a break, holiday, de-stress, this is my favourite place to come now,” Morrison said, taking in views from the property’s balcony.

Built in 2013 the impressively scaled home features a pool, a spa, a lavish media room and an internal elevator.

There’s also multiple entertainment spaces including an elegant rooftop lounge, and an al fresco relaxation deck.

Other features include a private study, an enormous ultra-modern kitchen and a pool room.

Meanwhile, master bedroom boasts a couples ‘retreat’, a private balcony and a dressing room.

Morrison, who still resides in New Zealand, rose to fame in the long-running Kiwi soap Shortland Street.

He later won wide recognition for his role in the gritty 1994 drama Once Were Warriors.

In 2002’s Attack of the Clones, Morrison played Jango Fett, the prototype for the film’s titular army of clones.

Fan favorite Boba Fett, who first appeared in 1980’s The Empire Strikes Back, was revealed to be one of the cloned Jangos, being raised as his son.

The hunky actor went on to achieve massive success with the Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian and later starred in The Book of Boba Fett.
