LeAnn Rimes broke her silence on rumors she got a boob job following the shocking incident where her teeth fell out while performing.
Over the weekend, the 43-year-old country singer-songwriter addressed speculation that she got surgery for her role on the new ABC hit series 9-1-1: Nashville.
While doing an Instagram Q&A with her fans on Sunday, she received and read a comment that just read ‘boob job,’ per Us Weekly, about a month after she shared an Instagram video of herself on set.
The Blue hitmaker, who revealed her secret health struggles after her teeth fell out mid-performance over the summer, shut down the rumors as she poked fun at the message.
‘If you are referring to my boobs — I can’t believe I am talking about my boobs — but if you are referring to my boobs in some of the videos that I have been posting when it comes to my character in 9-1-1: Nashville, I have the most massive push-up bra of life on,’ she revealed.
Rimes then went on to clarify that she did not have any procedures done to enhance her chest for her role as blonde bombshell Dixie Bennings on the Hulu series.

Over the weekend, the 43-year-old country singer-songwriter addressed speculation that she got surgery for her role on the new ABC hit series 9-1-1: Nashville
‘In fact, when I took off the bra one day, my boobs stayed up by my chin a bit before they fell,’ she joked.Â
‘So no, I did not get a boob job. Nothing that has not been there already,’ she added.
Her candid conversation with her fans comes shortly after she opened up about her health struggles and revealed why she has had to keep the truth under wraps for so long.
Her admission was on the heels of ongoing fan concern after her front teeth fell out on stage during one of her shows in June.
In the middle of a performance at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington, her dental bridge fell out.
After the incident, she explained that she had fake teeth because she opted to get dental veneers when she was 16.Â
However, she needed a second dentist to fix them because the veneers were not bonded properly — which resulted in the singer having to undergo multiple root canals and oral surgeries.Â
The day after her show and a fan-taken footage went viral, Rimes chatted candidly with her fans in an Instagram video and talked about the shocking experience of having her teeth pop out while performing in front of an audience.

‘So last night, I was on stage in the middle of One Way Ticket. I feel something pop in my mouth,’ she recalled at the time. ‘And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front.Â
‘It fell out in the middle of my song last night.’Â
She recalled how she quickly made her way to the side of the stage to put the bridge back into place.Â
‘I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage. And so, for the rest of the show, I was literally like this pushing my teeth in like every couple lines and singing,’ she explained.Â
Rimes added, ‘And you know, like I said, there wasn’t a thing I could do about it except either walk off or just hold my teeth in. So, I just ran with it.’Â
Previously, Rimes had also opened up about her health journey.
In addition to a number of dental surgeries, she told her fans how she struggles with psoriasis on her skin as well as early perimenopause symptoms, which began for her in her 30s.
And in January of 2024, Rimes gave her fans another update on her health, revealing that she underwent surgery to remove precancerous cells.Â

‘For so long, it did feel like I was hiding so much of myself,’ she told Us Weekly in this October.
She also added that the secrecy about her skin and health contributed to feelings of self-doubt.Â
‘It did allow for the insecurity of thoughts I’ve had in the past about “I’m not pretty, I’m not good enough”,’ Rimes continued. ‘I did learn how to love myself through all of my different incarnations.’Â
Despite feeling as if she had to conceal her health issues, Rimes has been open about suffering from psoriasis, which she revealed for the first time in 2020.Â
She said ‘it was such a moment of relief’ to publicly share her diagnosis ‘because I had been hiding that for so long.’Â
‘The same with my mental health and now with perimenopause,’ she continued. ‘Every time I talk about it, I set myself — and someone else — free.’Â
