They were The Blockheads who walked away empty handed.
But Leah and Ash found some Christmas cheer this festive season, even if they remain desperate to sell their stunning renovated home after a disastrous auction result on The Block’s November finale.
The controversial couple appeared all smiles in a holiday season picture they shared with followers.
‘Merry Christmas. We hope your day has been filled with so much love and happiness,’ they messaged fans in the story.
Leah, 31, looked fresh in a white off the shoulder dress, while Ash, 38, wore a white open neck casual shirt he matched with a pair of khaki shorts.

Meanwhile, one fan sent a message asking the couple whether they had managed to pull off a pre-Christmas sale – but the question went unanswered.
The couple have been left floundering with ‘no takers’ in sight, after one buyer, who was prepared to pay $3.1million for the Hampton East home, dropped out last month.
Considered one of the hot properties on the Block this year, the sprawling five-bedroom, four-bathroom pad was passed in during the season finale at $2.9million.
And despite reports of multiple offers on their House 2 just days before Christmas, the property remains unsold.
According to Domain, the property’s asking price has seen a revision, now reduced from $3.2million to $3.125million.
It comes after Yahoo Lifestyle reported earlier this month that interest in the lavish retro home has ‘hit an all time low.’

A source told the publication that the longer the house sits on the market, ‘the further away an ending is in sight.’
‘A Christmas miracle is needed at this stage if they want the house sold in 2023,’ the insider claimed.
The insider even speculated that it’s possible that the houses for the upcoming season of The Block will go under the hammer before Leah and Ash can get a buyer.
The Block buyer’s agents predicted big things for the couple after the luxury home was listed with a price guide of $2.7million – $2.9million.
