Layton Williams claims his dancer partnership with Nikita Kuzmin may soon come to an end.
The actor, 29, finished runner-up along with his professional dancer partner Nikita, 26, behind winner Ellie Leach on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
They are now preparing to head out their Layton & Nikita – LIVE! tour together but it may be the final time fans can see them perform together.
During an appearance on The One Show on Monday, Bad Education star Layton suggested he may never dance with Nikita again after their upcoming shows.
He said: ‘We’re just going to hopefully go out with a bang and it might be the last of me and Nikita.’

West End performer Layton announced earlier this month he would be performing in London and Manchester with Nikita.
He wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘We’re BACK! Absolutely buzzing to be reunited in Manchester & London for 2 shows ONLY!!
‘Come watch us dance together for the final time… Can’t waittttt. Who’s coming?’
The pair are due to perform at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on Sunday 30 June and the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London on Tuesday 16 July.
During their appearance on The One Show on Monday, they announced they had added a matinee show in London on 16 July.
Layton and Nikita performed as part of the Strictly Come Dancing Live! tour earlier this year and they are delighted to be heading out on the road as a duo.
Nikita said of Layton: ‘As a tour partner he is that good that I wanted to do a tour with him, that’s how good he is.
‘Honestly, he is my best buddy, he’s always there for me. He is the one who makes me shine by shining himself so just the best man to be next to.’

It comes after it was reported Strictly bosses were not happy with Nikita taking part on Celebrity Big Brother.
Although the professional dancer insisted he asked show bosses whether he could take part in the ITV series, they’re not too pleased with his decision.
According to the Mirror, the pro dancer – who finished runner-up on the reality show last month – took the ITV gig after he was offered more than triple his Strictly fee.
A source said: ‘Nikita is getting paid more for a few weeks in the CBB house than he does for an entire series of Strictly – which is 12 hours a day of work, six days a week.
‘But to say Strictly aren’t pleased about him signing up is an understatement.

‘There wasn’t much they could do to stop him, given that dancers are contracted for each series rather than being on a rolling contract.’
MailOnline contacted Strictly Come Dancing for comment.
Nikita joined Strictly as one of four new professionals in 2021 and has been paired with chef Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly Ramsay and former Paralympian swimmer Ellie Simmonds during his time on the programme.
He competed with Layton during last year’s series.
