Lauryn Goodman Defends Her Love Life Amid Kyle Walker Affair Drama

Lauryn Goodman has insisted that she’s not ‘desperate’ for love, despite her appearance on Celebs Go Dating.

The influencer, 33, famously had an affair with married Manchester City player Kyle Walker, 34 – with whom she shares 13-month-old Kinara and, Kairo, four, with. 

The pair then became involved in a paternity scandal and courtroom showdown after it had emerged he had fathered a second child with the model while with wife Annie Kilner – with Lauryn consequently taking jibes at the sportsman on social media.

And in a new interview, Lauryn has told that the public may be ‘surprised’ that she’s had a fairly modest love life, revealing that she’s only actually had ‘four partners’.

Speaking to New Magazine amid backlash over her appearance on the E4 dating show, Lauryn said: ‘Viewers might be quite surprised. I think people think that I sleep around. Not that there is anything wrong with that – each to their own – but I wasn’t brought up like that. My dad was really strict when I was younger. No boys were allowed upstairs.

‘I have had four partners. One was long term and I lived with him. A couple were well-known names and a couple not so well-known.’

During the chat, she went on to say that she’s not particularly craving love, noting that her children are her priority and she doesn’t need a man to ‘complete’ her.

She shared: ‘I am not desperate for it. If it happens, it happens. My children are my everything. They fulfil me. I don’t need someone to come and complete me. It would be an addiction.’ 

It comes after Lauryn appeared to take a swipe at her former flame Kyle in a cryptic post on Saturday night. 

Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a repost about opening up, which read: ‘You are allowed to talk about what they did to you and how it hurt you.

‘It does not matter how they feel about you talking about it because if they wanted people to think better of them, they should have been better. My page is for you’

Lauryn wrote on top of the post: ‘For anyone that needs it. Goodnight everyone.’ 

It comes after Lauryn leaked messages she alleges are between her and Kyle discussing their daughter’s paternity.

Last week she shared screenshots of WhatsApp messages that she claims are from Kyle, appearing to show he wanted to keep the paternity of their daughter a secret.

Alongside the messages, Lauryn wrote: ‘The DNA comments I’m seeing. He [Kyle] always knew his babies with me were his. DNAs are legal tactics.

‘We sorted the house before she was even born. He wouldn’t do that if he didn’t know for certain she wasn’t his.’

One message, believed to be from Kyle, reads: ‘Ok I believe u and u haven’t told her it’s mine’.

Lauryn responds: ‘She knows it’s yours 100% she said I know it’s his I know you didn’t [blank].’

Another of the screenshots that Lauryn alleges are from Kyle reads: ‘Sorry don’t want to course [cause] stress just keeping u in the loop.

Kyle shares children Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and five-month-old baby Rezon with wife Annie Kilner.

A source close to Kyle said: ‘Kyle was advised to take a DNA test by his legal team to confirm the paternity of the child. He has always maintained responsibility for the children financially.

‘He keeps his own four boys out of and protected from the media spotlight and is saddened that the other children impacted in this situation are being dragged into the public spat continuously. 

‘Kyle didn’t want it all to be public, this was due to the huge press interest and subsequent media campaigns often led by Lauryn Goodman.’

Meanwhile, Kyle has denied buying personalised football kits for the two young children he shares with Lauryn.

As England played in the Euro’s this summer, Lauryn dressed her son Kairo and daughter Kinara in full football kits, while the boys Kyle shares with Annie were also seen at the matches wearing his No. 2 shirt. 

She previously claimed the footballer had purchased Kairo and Kinara the kits, but a source has now told MailOnline, he did not personalise the shirts, and instead Lauryn had them personalised herself.

They explained: ‘Kyle bought one plain kit for Kairo and then Lauryn went out and bought another for Kinara. 

‘She had them both personalised with Daddy and his number herself. That aspect had nothing to do with Kyle.’
